These screen patches are a great quick-fix for worn window screens. We had a couple splits in our upstairs bedrooms which were letting in flies. I stuck these bad boys on and voila! No more bugs. We will eventually need to replace the screens, but for now, they’ll do.Pros- stick easily, come in many sizes, simple product for a quick fixCons- you can see the outline of the patches from the street, I would have liked them to blend in just a little better. But, this doesn’t effect functionality!

I’m pleasantly surprised how well this works. I double it up, using one sticker on either side and it has great adhesion, hasn’t moved at all, it’s not peeling off and doesn’t even look bad, it definitely has a better appearance than a ripped screen. Great price, great item.

These screen patches work great for quick repairs and stick well. Super easy to use. That said, they’re not the most visually appealing—definitely noticeable on the screen. Perfect for function, but not for aesthetics

This was my first time ever buying window screen "fixer" for the little tears or holes. Yup, this tape will cover up the cus or made by bugs, kids and birds.Tape is super sticky.Tape stays put where placed.No more holes, rips or tears.The precut pieces are so easy to use. The wax paper that covers the glue comes of easily. Cutting a piece to fit "just right" is simple, swift and easily done. This is easiest screen repair kit I have used. It is a one person job, however it is also fun to put on with the kids.Make sure you press the patch onto the screen gently. You don't need to put much pressure on the screen tape to make it stay put. It may not look pretty but, it will fix the screen immediately. This is so so much easier than trying to replace the whole screen. Use pre cut or "cut too fit" your screen. Measure (I eye balled mine), peel the paper from the glue and you are done. I found that if I lift just a little of the paper off, place the glue side onto the screen, gently pull the back off the tape as you go works better than taking all the wax paper off at once.Over all this is a very good and affordable way to fix your screens.

They've held up through strongish wind and rain so far, so I'd say they work pretty well. Only downsides are that you can easily see them (I don't really mind, I just don't want bugs getting in) and air does not pass through. This only caused a small problem because the tear I was patching was directly behind where my window fan sits. This has caused the airflow to pull and warp the screen somewhat. BUT the patch adhesive has held up thus far through wind, rain, high heat and humidity, and direct sunlight. So what if my neighbors can tell I frugally patched the screen instead of replacing it!

We recently moved into a rental. Some of the screens had some holes in them and we weren’t sure how long it would take for the owners or management company to do anything, and since the holes were pretty small, we just used these to patch them. Maybe at some point they will replace the screens, but it really isn’t necessary. We just wanted to keep insects out. They were easy to apply and are doing the job. You get quite a few so I gave some to a friend who has been patching her screen with clear packing tape “until I have a chance to replace the screen”. It’s already been several years, so I told her she could use that “just until she has a chance”. You can tell the patches are there, but it looks a lot better than some other alternatives.
