I wanna start off by saying that I am going to need to come back with a more detailed review after I use this for a little bit longer ( the recommended time on the directions) But I can’t tell you so far I cannot believe how much my scar has not only faded, but due to the damage done to my arm my scar was extremely bumpy. And just a short amount of time of using this, my scar is completely smooth and has faded so much. I will be back with not only a detailed update, but also with before, during and after photos

After about three months of consistent use, I’ve noticed a clear improvement in my foot surgery scars. The larger incision has become smoother and more even in tone, and the smaller scar that previously felt firm underneath has softened over time. It hasn’t been an overnight change, but with steady application, the progress has been noticeable. One thing that really matters is applying a very thin layer. More is not better. A fine layer forms a protective silicone barrier over the scar, which helps maintain hydration and creates the ideal environment for remodeling. When I applied too much early on, it just felt sticky and didn’t absorb properly. A thin layer twice a day worked much better. From what I’ve learned, silicone has strong clinical backing compared to options like vitamin E oil. Silicone works by creating an occlusive, breathable barrier that reduces water loss, regulates collagen production, and helps flatten and soften raised scars. Vitamin E, on the other hand, has mixed evidence and can sometimes cause skin irritation without consistently improving scar appearance. Silicone is widely considered the gold standard for hypertrophic and keloid scars. The only downside for me is the packaging. The long plastic tube becomes harder to squeeze as it empties, and it can take quite a bit of pressure to get the silicone out toward the end. It’s not a deal breaker, but it is frustrating enough that I’m subtracting one star. Overall, ScarAway Silicone Scar Gel has delivered steady, visible improvement in both texture and color for me. Patience and proper application technique really make the difference.

This stuff really works. It does take a long time (about 3 months) to see the complete results, but it's worth the wait. I used it every morning and evening for 3 months, and now you can't really see the scar on my face at all. My dermatologist recommended that I buy it. I'm so glad she did. Originally the scar was building up scar tissue and itching like crazy. Once I started using ScarAway, the itching stopped and the scar became less red, then clearer, then almost disappearing.

We are officially on our 4th one of these. My daughter had a lot of acne scarring on her arms. We purchased this upon advice of another person. There's some pros and cons: Pros: its working. There is a noticeable difference after about 2.5 months of using this. It's not completely resolved, but looking better. There is no heavy scent and goes on smoothly. Dries down quickly and doesn't seem to stain any clothing. A little does go a long way. Cons: you dont get a ton of product. It's a slow process, but works. You will go through many of these before results are achieved. It's a good quality for an over the counter product. If your looking for quick results, this is not the product for you. Overall I give it 5 stars bc you do get a decent quality for it being OTC. If you're okay with it taking more time than a prescription.... definitely give this a try.

Very pleased with minimizing my recent Mohs facial scar. To be honest, maybe my dermatologist surgeon was v good at suturing, but regardless after 5 wks surgery of 1" long vert scar, it's flush and healing rapidly. Given the low $, clinical product evidence of scar minimization, and on one's face, why even chance it ie Buy it!

I rarely leave reviews but had to for this product! 10/10 works so well. Easy application & fades scars quickly. I’ve been using for about a month now and see a tremendous difference. Would rebuy & recommend to anyone looking to fade scars.
