Bought for Re-enacting but use all the time for fishing
I bought this for re-enacting a while back, but I never ended up filling out my German kit collection. I ended up using it as a quick over the shoulder fishing bag quite often. Its a good size and retains a small amount of kit without having to snap it close due to the inner bags shape evening while hiking and moving around. It makes it easy to grab quickly because you don't have to fasten or unfasten anything.
