We were searching for a security camera suitable for our off-grid field, and this one perfectly meets our requirements. We have a stable but not particularly fast solar 4G WiFi setup, and we were pleasantly surprised by how well this camera works with it. The picture quality is ideal for this setup, clear enough to see what’s happening without consuming too much data. The night-time visuals are also great and clear.Once set up, the battery has stayed topped up ever since. The app is very user-friendly, and we were able to configure it exactly for our needs. The alerts are great and promptly appear on my phone and watch. It also has a light/alarm feature that can be set up, although we haven’t had to use it yet.Overall, we’re very happy with our purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a great value for money and an easy security setup.

This is the first external home camera I have bought and I am very impressed with it. It was easy to install - I have it covering my front path/door. It was straightforward to add the camera to the ANRON app which I downloaded onto my iPhone. I did some testing with the sensitivity and found a setting of 4 was ideal to detect people approaching/entering the house. We have previously had children knockingon the door and running a way and the camera will record this if it happens again.Being able to see who is knocking at the door on the iPhone is great as you then have a choiceto answer it or ignore it. The 'Hold to talk' function allows you to speak to the person at the door without opening it. The camera has been in place, on a north-facing wall, for 5 days and still shows a full charge so I guess the solar panel is charging it efficiently. I bought a micro SD card with the camera, total 54.94, which I consider is great value. I will be buying 2 more of the same camera to cover other parts of our house & garden.Edited 30/08/2024I have now have bought and installed a second of these cameras. It was easy to install and link to the ANARAN app on my iPhone. I have been using the second camera to monitor our drive and cars. I can set the sensitivity to detect everything that comes on the drive, including cats and foxes. Or, I can exclude these to just detect humans. The camera arrived with charge and since I installed it the solar panel has kept the battery fully charged.I like the way the app allows easy navigation of alerts in the app and I am impressed by the video quality, as the cause of the alert is always clearly shown; for example a black cat at night! I would recommend this camera to anyone requiring a dependable camera to monitor their home.

I bought this camera for the back garden for peace of mind and also to keep watching over our pet rabbit (foxes attacked our previous rabbit). I was debating over this brand and another well known brand. The unit itself is a lot larger than I thought, but it's not a problem. It's robust and works well. I have added a memory card to it, as opposed to joining the cloud service. Attaching to the wall was easy, all attachments are included. Set up with the app was straight forward. You can choose the sensitivity of the motion detection, set when you want alerts to come through. It has a built in motion sensor light, which lights up my garden, and an alarm also. I don't use the alarm function, the neighbours may complain, but I tested it when I'm the house, it's quite loud! It also has a speaker, so you can speak through the app, came in handy when my eldest decided to lock us out the front of the house by mistake, the other kids were in the garden, I used the app to ask them to open the front door!! Overall, very happy with the purchase.

these are decent cameras, thought i’d give them a try out. nice that the solar panel is integrated into the cam, no separate wires to link to the panel and camera, don’t have to drill two lots of holes so it’s a nice and tidy job. they keep the cams charged up pretty well, providing you put them in a lit place of course. 2 of my cameras were right next to my house which was not exposed to a lot of light but still managed to charge to 70% or so. i have frequent motion around my property so its operating a lot, and kept the charge.app interface is pretty easy to navigate and i can easily understand everything, access footageOption for micro sd card or cloud recording, no hidden fees which is good. i opted for sd card- got a 32gb sandisk high endurance which is made for cameras and cctv footage storage. 1 week of recordings not even filled the capacity a lot which is greatthey are not for 24/7 recording, which is what i wanted for my property. unfortunately this is one of the reasons i have returned them.Another reason is the sound quality- cannot really make out voices unless they are speaking very loud. can make out basic sounds like cars coming or opening and closing of doors.third reason is because when motion is detected a lot of the time it’s too late by the time it’s recorded footage and the person / car is gone. i have it set to high sensitivity toooverall pretty good budget system, well made but unfortunately not for me.

Works really well and the built in solar panel makes it so easy to keep charged. Yes you need to charge it fully first ( via the mains) but after that the solar panel keeps it topped up really well.Image is clear both day and night, I also like the inbuilt light and siren function. I’ve turned off the siren for motion sensing as my neighbours won’t appreciate that ! However I do leave the light activated for motion and it’s great for giving a clearer view.Warnings / notifications are quick to come through on the app even away from home..Overall, really impressed by the camera especially at the price
