This stuff is awesome! We bought the purple color for my 8 year old fashionista to use on her hair. She has light brown hair and it still took so well! It’s a deep gorgeous purple and I’d say it lasted about a month. We still have plenty left so she can keep coloring as she wishes. Very easy to apply but WEAR GLOVES. This is a hair color so it will stain your skin. It seemed to wash out of laundry well and we had zero issues with the color coming off onto her clothing. Just make sure you rinse your hair very well after the first application. Use pure acetone or rubbing alcohol to remove stains from counters, tub, tile floors etc, if needed. Easy peasy and really fun!

My daughter loves this brand! And I extra love it because it comes out in a couple of washes. Very easy to use. I do recommend getting gloves to apply. I also use tinfoil or some sort of wrap to use while you wait for it to set so it doesn’t stain hair around it if you’re just doing pieces! Works amazing!

Got two pumps out of it and the mechanism froze up. No amount of cleaning or maneuvering helped and it was entirely unusable. I ended up taking the cap off and trying to applying the liquid directly to my hair. This made an awful mess because without the nozzle to foam the dye, it’s the consistency of water. The dye does have great staying power, but I’d recommend just purchasing the jars of dye from Punky Colour.

I'm a big fan of the Punky color hair dying products. I've used most of their 3-in-1 color-depositing shampoo. They're great and if you haven't tried them then do! That being said, this product, the foaming hair color, is a very different animal. Sure, it colors your hair, but if you've got long hair like I do I would encourage you to use the 3-in-1 color depositing shampoo from Punky instead of the foam. The foam is ideal for very short hair, like, you know, short-short. You just get that foam all over the top of your short hair and as it deflates it turns into a liquid that neatly coats the very short hair. Did I mention SHORT? If you have long hair, like I do, then I think the Punky color 3-in-1 shampoo is the better choice. The shampoo works better in longer hair. When I tried the foam in my longer hair I had to use a LOT of it, like...A...LOT... I bought the blue version of the Sugar Cloud foam, Jawbreaker, and it falls squarely somewhere between the 3-in-1 Punky color-depositing shampoo Bluemania and Tealistic. Bluemania is darker and Tealistic is more green than the Jawbreaker "foam". Now, I will say, if you want to get creative with your hair color, like, say, drawing shapes or symbols into your platinum blonde spikes, then the foam would definitely be the way to go with that. The draw for the foam is that it alleges that it will last up to 30 washes. I can definitely tell it did a much better job of covering my gray hairs than the 3-in-1 does being applied for the same amount of time. There was also considerably less run-off in the shower than I usually get with the 3-in-1 shampoo. I'll update this when I know more about how long it lasts, but, so far, it seems to be doing a great job of holding onto its color.

My daughter LOVES this. She has a medium brown hair and it still has so much color in it. It was easy to apply to a toddlers hair and she LOVES it.

SUPER easy to apply the foam and no toxic smells, perfect for my 6yo son. BUT one wash and it lost about half the color! Enough in the bottle for us to do about 5 times, so I guess that is the compromise. He asks to re-dye it weekly and I have complied, but next time will try a different brand for this reason

My daughter’s hair was previously lighten and colored multiple colors. Most of it had faded to the nasty brassy green and yellow with only the blue hanging on for dear life. Sugar cloud went on easy and covered all that with no problems. I was worried that with the colors under it that some strands would be different colors. Wasn’t a problem. The difference is so minor I don’t think anyone notices but me and I have to really look to see. It was a bit messy going on but what I did get on her face on accident. It was easily removed with dish soap and water. There’s no transfer either. Typical when I color my hair “fun colors” it gets all over the shower and everything my hair touches. I was worried that her pillow case and towels may pick up some color. So far it hasn’t moved off her hair. That is possibly the only draw back on this. We wanted something that would stay on but come off more easily so we can change colors frequently. I don’t know if this is going to happen but I don’t think it’s necessarily a negative either. And bonus points this green is beautiful. It’s going to fade beautifully. Also it did make her hair feel super dry afterwards. Nothing a good ole deep conditioner didn’t fix.

Worked very well on my daughter who has brown hair! Its certainly not neon pink but we knew with her brown hair it would not be but we are very happy with the results and my daughter LOVES IT! shes been asking me for a long time if she can do it and we finally did it - happy with this product and the price point. Easy to apply with gloves on. Also made her hair so so soft! No harsh smells or chemicals. It rinsed out easily.
