Change your afternoon, change your life
For whatever reason, 100mg of paraxanthine is sort of difficult to find. Grateful for Focus Bites 100mg!!! I take one at 2pm for the afternoon slump, and it is a game changer!! Improves my focus and energy effectively enough that look forward to afternoons now. And…… It Does Not Effect My Sleep. Nuff said 🥰

Definitely improved my mood, focus
This was legitimately life-changing in terms of the positive effects on my focus and mood. Granted, I was taking an MAOI antidepressant when I started taking Px, which probably significantly enhanced the effects. I talked Px up so much that several people I know have now tried it. Probably half of them reported that it didn't do much so YMMV. Especially if you are used to caffeine, you will probably require a relatively high dose of Px to notice anything. I agree with the other reviewers that these taste bad. However, this product is the only option on the market at 100 mg and also the only tablets, which are easier to cut into smaller doses.

I can't tolerate the flavor.
I suppose it's effective but the flavor is nothing I look forward to in the morning. Going back to capsules.

I take them at 5pm
I've only tried twice now. I plan on taking them at 5pm to get me through the rest of the day. I do PT cleaning evenings/nights. So this will be great in that it won't keep me up all night after work. Both times I've taken, I've just let them dissolve in my mouth. Slightly minty, but also medicine-y taste. It's not candy but nothing I'd have to spit out. I was feeling tired and I remembered to take one of these just now. Just before it was completely dissolved I noticed the tiredness lifted slightly. It definitely took the edge off. I also feel a slight mood boost. Also some good sensation in my body. I think with some physical activity this would be great. I haven't taken caffeine in 30 days before trying these. I do plan to use these instead of caffeine. But I plan on only taking one due to cost. So far I think I would buy another bottle. Yea, I like these. Brought me out of a bit of a slump without having to use caffeine so late in the evening.

Don’t care whether they work or not. The taste is awful.
And there’s very few things that I cannot manage to consume. The melon mint flavor is a terrible idea. One or the other might’ve been OK. If you chew them up, they stick to your teeth, which means you can’t get the nasty taste out of your mouth. Maybe I can break them in half and swallow them hole. Since I have an entire bottle of this, I either have to figure out how to use it, or to toss it. I don’t usually give negative reviews. And this is entirely subjective based on the taste of the product.

All the benefits of Coffee, without the nervous irritation. These are the bomb, especially in the afternoon as a pick-me-up

Your tolerance may vary
It is my understanding, that the caffeine you consume, is metabolized into Paraxanthine, the active ingredient in Focus Bites. Since caffeine and I, are old friends, I thought it maybe interesting to see if Focus Bites were any different. My first experience was after taking the recommended dose of 1 "piece" (tablet). Compared to caffeine, the effects were noticed more quickly. I really felt like a whole tablet at once was a bit too much for me. Since then I have been using 1/2 tablet per dose. I have not felt like I needed more than 1 tablet per day. Paraxanthine may be a little more cerebral, and less somatic, than caffeine. I have no complaint about Focus Bites, but I have no real preference for them, over ordinary caffeine. Paraxanthine is identified as the most potent caffeine-derived inhibitor of connective tissue growth factor expression in liver parenchymal cells (Olav A. Gressner, in Environmental Toxicology and Pharmacology, 2009). I think that has no significance for normal healthy individuals, not exceeding the recommended dosage. It may be something to consider if you consume a lot of alcohol, certain drugs, or have an medical condition that puts your liver at risk. Then again, I am not a healthcare practitioner. Seek expert advice for any concerns you may have. I will say the flavor of Focus Bites, is something you may not celebrate. You have to chew them briefly, before swallowing. They do not come in a child-proof container, so keep them in a secure location if you have curious children, or pets that feel entitled.
