This was a joy to build and i bought it back in March 2025 and it looks as good today as it did when i completed it, once again the instructions are clear and concise and the final result looks great on my mantelpiece.

A very comprehensive kit complete with tools, sandpaper and wax, provided in a sturdy cardboard box with a beautiful picture of the completed model. I really enjoyed building this and it kept me occupied for several hours. The attention to detail is amazing and the instructions are very clear making it a pleasure rather than a chore to build. Once built I was amazed that it needed very little tweaking (correcting a slightly wonky flywheel) in order to make it run and its mesmerising to watch. Need to find a nice display case now as it will be a nightmare to dust!

This is an excellent model, all pieces go together very well, though some can be a bit fiddly. I have personalised mine, as it will be a present for my eldest grandson.

A lovely detailed model kit to build a steam locomotive . 100s of wooden pieces to delicately extricate and fit together and make this lovely model. We love model making and wooden kits to build together as a family , not in a few hours but over days or weeks . Some of the pieces are flimsy and delicate or don’t quite fit right ,but with patience and a few adjustments they do . I would recommend that someone with experience constructs or helps in the construction or there could be a little frustration when things don’t fit smoothly . Good instructions with some helpful tools - little tweezers and screwdriver and tiny screws and nails that add to the realism . We also had to hand a craft blade ,sandpaper ,grips and clips and a glue for those pieces that needed adjusting or a little more support. I love the detail , the manual gears , the cogs and spokes , a challenging but fun model to build and feel a real sense of achievement . Cant wait to try others

Got to be the best kit ever, not easy, but extremely satisfying

This was a remarkable kit and extremely well designed and made. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. BUT having spent two days constructing this model I had reached the half way point and needed parts from Sheet B which was missing - there were in fact two of Sheet A. When I contacted Amazon they were unfortunately unable to help in a satisfactory way. They told me they would be happy to replace the kit if I returned the original. This would mean dismantling two days work having completed most of the technical side - this I felt I could not do - which left me two options - 1 to do nothing and be very disappointed with a half finished model - or 2 - buy another kit at nearly £60. This second option I have reluctantly done - leaving me with an incomplete model for spares. I realise this is not Amazon's fault but only wish there had been a better solution leaving me a happy and satisfied customer.

Having enjoyed Rokr puzzles this one is a real challenge mainly due to several holes too big so glue needed and others to small making it very difficult to insert pieces. Not to their usual standard
