Fault messages on screen indicate it does not connect to ECU
Purchased this for a BMW Z4, on running a quick test it identified a power steering fault but when running the individual system test to clear the fault it says “cannot connect to the ecu” but it’s connected! It doesn’t work properly and I’m not wasting any more time with it, it’s rubbish and is in the process of a return. Don’t waste your money! It’s not even worth one star!

Valueable tool for DIY enthusiasts.
This scanner goes beyond your typical code reader, offering a valuable tool for both BMW and Mini owners. It can decipher fault codes across various systems in your car, from the engine to the brakes and airbags. Those confusing dashboard lights? The JUTA B50 can help you understand the problem and potentially avoid a trip to the mechanic. The scanner's usefulness extends beyond diagnostics. It offers some handy features for routine maintenance on my BMW. It can reset the oil light after a change, and help adjust the throttle sensor. While these features might not be for everyone, they're a big plus for DIY enthusiasts who like to tackle some car maintenance tasks themselves. This JUTA B50 itself is user-friendly, so even if you're not a car expert, you can navigate it. The price tag is reasonable too, making it a decent option for BMW or Mini owners who want to be a bit more hands-on with their car's care.Overall, this scanner isn't a magic fix-all, but it's a valuable tool for diagnosing problems and performing some basic maintenance tasks on my BMW. It's a good choice for BMW or Mini owners who want to be more involved in their car's upkeep.

Did not do ABS bleeding on my car
It’s probably quite a good scanner, but in my case it did not have the feature that was needed, i.e. getting the air out of the ABS module. Which is the only way of doing it as normal leading does not work I sent it back.

Basic but good
"Long Story Short"Comes in branded packagingThis is a basic tool to diagnose some basic faults but it isn't a tool that will fix your car itself :-)Semi- Professional Tool for BMW & Mini: The JUTA B50 is a full-system diagnostic tool designed specifically for BMW and Mini vehicles. It offers comprehensive analysis of all available control modules, ensuring fast and accurate diagnostics.Advanced Features: It boasts powerful features like Battery Registration, Oil Service Reset, ABS Bleeding, and more, catering to a wide range of maintenance needs for BMW and Mini cars.User-Friendly Design: With its 2.8" TFT color LCD screen and user-friendly interface, the JUTA B50 is suitable for both professionals and beginners, making car diagnostics accessible to everyone.Compatibility Considerations: While highly compatible with most BMW, Mini, and RR models before 2021, it’s important to note that certain older models do not support the battery registration function. This diagnostic tool is ease of use, and cost-effectiveness, making it a valuable addition to any car owner’s toolkit.Value for money 10 out of 10

Money saver.
This is a great money saving device as it tells me before going to the garage what can possibly be wrong with my car therefore when speaking to the mechanic I can be on point with the information and this way the mechanic will know that I have some clue of what I'm talking about thus saving me money on potentially inflated bills but also because they will not have to repeat the same diagnosis procedure again and charge me for it.The diagnostic tool is very good at reading a lot of different error codes with the most commonly ones needing resetting being the servicing and oil, both of which this device has no issues performing. It is easy to navigate, with the necessary steps for the reading being self-explanatory and the display is clear and easy to read.It supports 11 different languages and one of the features which I find very important is that it can connect to a PC and constantly be updated as there is new vehicle data being updated in the system and having free lifetime software upgrades is amazing.Simply to use an efficient tool which I definitely recommend.

Useful scanner but don't expect it to do all features on all models.
This BMW / Mini specific OBD scanner is nicely made, with a decent quality cable and plug. Software is simple to navigate and codes are easily read and cleared. Info it provides is a bit minimal compared to more comprehensive OBD tools, and although the tool has loads of features to select from not every feature works on every car model.I think if it's viewed as a general engine code reader and reset tool, but with the bonus that you may get extended functionality over a generic reader on some models then this is a useful addition to the toolbox. If you work from that assumption you shouldn't be too disappointed if you pick it up and the feature to register your battery or something else is greyed out for your model.
