Can't have enough large stainless mixing bowls
These lightweight stainless bowls are a godsend for bulk cooking. I use them gor grinding sausage, brining cucumbers, mixing bulk meatloaf, etc.

A little cheap but functional
These were definitely bigger than I imagined and I only needed one. They are also kind of thin, so they would dent easily. Other than that they’re fine!

Deep mixing bowls
After returning three sets of metal mixing bowls from various companies, I found these which match the “old-fashioned” deep bowls that my grandmother had. Seems to be good quality, they do need a very good washing and hand drying under the rim, but other than that, I’m very satisfied with my purchase. Dishwasher safe and can hold a double batch of cookies.

They seemed good at first but I'm not sure they are safe
As others have mentioned, both bowls have block soot-like oxidation. If I wipe them dry/clean with a light colored towel, the towel is black with residue and I can see more in the bowls that I can't wash off or wipe off. They are cheap for a reason. These are inferior products and I'm not convinced they are certified as food-safe like similar bowls. I'm throwing them out - I don't trust that the coating on these bowls is safe. I didn't think about any of this until I used and washed my bowls yesterday.

Two nice metallic bowls
Bought two new bowls for making my breads. These are good size and light weight. They easily nest into theirselves and into the other larger bowl I just bought. Their height is roughly 5 inches. They are 13 1/2 inches across including a lip of 1/2 inch all the way around. Again, I ordered a set of bowl that was supposed to be made in "India." While these are nice looking bowls, there was no stamp on the bottom of the bowls or label indicating where they were made, so I have to wonder if they were actually made in India. They have a better sheen/surfacing than the other bowl that I bought, so perhaps they were made in India. I did note that a label had been affixed to both, but was removed before they were shipped (the adhesive gum was still visible before I washed them.
