Garbage
On the outside this appears to be built Excellent but the build quality is horrible. It broke the second time I tried using it. I have the ORIGINAL master cool version of this which is by far a better product but I was out at a job 700 miles from home and figured I would try this. There are a lot of nice features. I really really wanted to like this flaring tool because in some ways it is better than the original master cool (That this is a copy of.) You have to tighten everything before you even use this, it will literally fall apart. If you don’t tighten the Allen screws where the hydraulic piston assembly meets the flare block assembly. The hydraulic reservoir was loose, anything that could be loose was loose. whatever attaches the hydraulic ram to the coupler for the flaring dies, shot out across the room on my second use, I was unable to locate whatever was holding it together so in the box, it goes, and I am returning it because, what good is a Beautiful looking tool that does not work…..

Great hand tool to make invert and bubble flares.
I bought this tool to make 3/16" tubing for brake lines so I can make bubble flares. At the moment I'm testing out the hydraulic press. I;m using copper/ nickel tubing for bubble flare and Invert flare and it came out good so far. I then tried using 1/4" steel tubing line to make a invert flare and the tool failed, the tubing was being pushed out of the die block, I tried this several time with the same result. So I did an exchange on Amazon, when I got it, I tried the 1/4" coiled steel brake line again, this time the die block held the tubing in place and I successfully made a the 1/4" Invert flare. I did this 2 more times and it still worked. So then I wanted to make sure the 3/16" steel and copper / nickel tubing would form the Invert and bubble flare correctly. and It was fine. I'm only going to be using the copper / nickel tubing to make brake lines anyway, due to the fact that steel tubing will rust over time, unless I have no choice depending on what I will be using it on.

Yep, its worth it!
I am an old fart and only knew one simple flar but now days you need to be WOKE to the new kinds of flars and thats no JOKE. When the lines rust out and ya need to fix this is the right POKE. Do the click and poke the mouse this will pay for itself on the first job. Right flars every time...life gets easier when you have the right tool. Even an old dummy like me can do the fancy new flars!... try it you will like it.P.s. ... seller is fast shipper. I think it was shipped before I ordered it came so fast... wink wink.
