Absolutely fantastic rug. Love the way it looks and goes with my aesthetics. Yes, it does shed, not horribly but I can deal with it. Mainly b/c where it’s at there isn’t much foot traffic. The rug is thicker but vacuum goes over it w/out difficulty. It is comfortable to walk on also. I bought this for my entryway so the size is rectangle. The edges lay flat & doesn’t slip around on the floor.

I was hesitant about this rug because everyone is saying how much it sheds. While it is true that the rug sheds a lot, it is still worth it.The rug is heavy, soft, and looks great. Now I don’t know how well it will hold up over time because I do have it in my main sitting area on my terrace level. I will come back and update this review after a month or so.My initial impressions are that I love it. Some people said the rug doesn’t need a pad, and that is kind of true. It doesn’t need any sort of padding for cushion, but I did need to put a non-slip mat under mine. There is no sort of built in padding at all and I hate a rug sliding around, and after adding a nonslip mat it’s great.When I first laid the rug down, I went ahead and vacuumed for a good bit of time. I had to empty the canister 4 separate times. I’ve also been vacuuming everyday for 3 days just to help speed up the shedding. I have zero regrets so far. Love it!

Purchased 2 of the same rug different sizes for my vacation home. Purchased in May and just returned in July. Initially, impressed with the look and feel of rugs as well as $$$ price point but that's where the nightmare of these rugs begins 😲 Literally, the worst shedding rugs I have ever purchased-ever.!! Layers & layers of fuzzy hair sheds EVERYWHERE, everyday, and never stops! Shedding fuzz literally layers and accumulates within seconds- in the air, on your socks, on dog toys, all over the floors- everywhere! When vacuumed, yhe cannuster is dyson is filled to the top-yuck! OMG the worst rugs ever-do not buy!! Also, my allergies 🤧 are worse in our master bedroom where one of the rugs resides as well and the smell of the rug just isnt right-like sort of a 'wet but now dry dog hair smell'. Not sure what these rugs are made of but they are just the worse..what are they made of??? Purchased prior to leaving my 2nd home in May of 2024. Explained to Amazon I just returned for vacation and the rooms these rugs are in is covered by shedding everywhere- I wasn't even here for one month so the rugs had no traffic-yuck!!! Deeply dissatisfied with the rugs and want to return these chorrible rugs as well as well as receive my refund in full. Contacted the company S & L and hope to hear back soon.

I’m so happy I finally found an affordable rug. It looks beautiful. Very natural. Soft and comfortable. Thick. It doesn’t make any bubbles. It’s shed a lot at first but it’s evening out now. I couldn’t be happier with it.

I love this rug, I truly do. It has a burnt odor to it though. I'm going to try a freshener and hope that helps . Also nice and soft

As other reviewers have noted, this rug sheds quite a bit. I bought it to put underneath the master bedroom bed which is not a high traffic area, so the shedding is minimal. Definitely wouldn’t recommend having it in a living room or anywhere that it could accumulate dirt easily, as I don’t think this would be easiest to clean if it were to become heavily soiled. I love how it looks and it’s super soft on the feet.

The color, texture and weight of the rug is great, It looks great when you first lay it out. But it’s easily snagged, constant shedding of wool fiber- constant, it ripples and won’t lay completely flat under furniture. I would not recommend this product. I’ve had this rug in my living room for 4 months and will be replacing it.

Absolutely love this rug! I was originally going to purchase the NuLoom rug that was similar but it was 400+. I stumbled upon this one and took the chance(at the time there were no reviews). I’m so glad I did because it’s such a great neutral textured rug and adds so much to our living room. I also wanted a soft, natural rug for our 6 month old so he could crawl. He definitely approves!Only thing to be mindful of is the shedding. After baby was crawling barefoot, I did see some hair fibers stuck in between his toes lol.I’m also already seeing little fluff balls forming but I don’t mind them. I expected it with this type of rug and the instructions said shedding in the beginning is normal.We’ll see how I feel in a couple of months but overall I really love how it looks and feels.
