Excellent sunscreen. Protects, doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and natural. I use this sunscreen everyday and especially surfing in Central America. It holds up under extreme sun and ocean time! Great product, great quality, great price. Highly recommend.

I bought this as primary face sunscreen since I use retinol and other actives. It has a matte finish to it so it's not greasy at all. Considering it's a mineral sunscreen and will leave a white cast no matter what, it's at least pretty minimal on my darker skin when I rub it in well. It's easy to wash off even when you apply multiple times throughout the day. There is no strong chemical smell like regular sunscreens, but it does smell "minerally". I don't mind this smell considering for me the chemical smell with regular sunscreens makes me so nauseous. Glad I made this purchase.

Great sunscreen - no white task - long lasting and very effective.

I like the fact that it’s a clean product and better for the environment, less chemicals, but you have to spend a good amount of time rubbing the white cream it into your skin and it’s not easy to wash off either. Not sure if I’d buy again.

Great mineral sunscreen! A little bit goes a long way!

I wish I didn’t buy this product and now I have 2 containers I cannot use. First, it smells rancid. It’s not that I don’t like the scent but it actually smells off. I thought maybe it’s just because it’s unscented so I tried it anyway. The texture is the strangest thing. It doesn’t cover evenly and feels almost (difficult to describe) waxy instead of creamy. It was very white which I didn’t mind because that did fade with time but the worst part is that I immediately started feeling itchy and burning/prickly feeling where I’d applied it!!! I thought maybe I’m ‘imagining’ this feeling because it was thick on my skin but it wouldn’t stop. I decided to try it one more time just to make sure and it was the same the next day and it was exactly the same. So I did a small skin test on my arm later that evening and sure enough it turned red and blotchy where I applied (see pic). I have never had any reaction to other zinc oxide products so I was really surprised. The final thing I’ll mention about this awful product is that when I went to wash it off, it felt like a film was still on my skin, even after washing it twice! I’m so disappointed that I have to throw 2 containers away because I can’t return it now.

Love this Alba mineral sunscreen. All day protection from the sun. You do have to wash it off with soap and water. This is my go-to, every-day sunscreen. I spend a lot of time outside and this stuff really works.
