It helps to remove silicone as it makes it soft. Quite good yield. Not very bad smell. Easy to apply. Enough for bathroom job.

Remover spray works okay on bathtub but not that well on tiles or painted surfaces, even after several extra minutes. Other than that scraper and smoothing tools all work brilliantly. Mostly satisfied.

It really works, quickly and cleanly the horrible old stained silicon is gone in a fairly short time. It is good value for money too

I used Soudal sealer to seal my marble back panel to the wood and needed to take it off and reset it. The Soudal is industrial strength and quite hard to remove so possibly stronger than sealer. This product was excellent in removing it and comes with an applicator brush. I couldn't use a paint stripper or anything with a sharp blade because I didn't want to damage the marble so I used a plastic caulk tool which worked well. My sealer was extremely thick and I needed two coats for the wood part and it stripped the top layer off , second came off no problem. Marble only needed one coat. Unbelievably fast delivery, ordered it on Saturday evening and it was here on Sunday morning. I read the label and it does state it can be fatal if swallowed. I did spill some on the floor and walked over it . I have cats that might have done the same if I hadn't noticed it and if they got it on their paws and licked it , it could have been fatal, so whilst it's a great product be careful using it around kids and animals. It's also quite strong smelling so I've put the cats in another room with the window open and all windows and doors opened in the living room and kitchen. Overall brilliant product.

Despite other reviews, this really did not work that well. OK, it was easy to use; apply the gel using the brush in the bottle and leave to soak on the silicone for 15 minutes, which I did. Then grabbing the enclosed remover tool, started to TRY and remove the silicone - nothing! Applied more gel, left for an hour and tried again - still nothing. Now it could be that the silicone had been there a while, I don't know but ignoring the product and using a stanley knife, I was able to remove it the old fashioned way. The only reason for the 3 stars is the tool was very useful in applying the new silicone but I still ended up using the finger the old fashioned way. Personally, I wouldn't bother with this product.

An essential product when removing old caulk

The removal gel is a completely useless product. It had absolutely no effect on the sealant. Might as well have used water. Total waste of money and not even worth one star. The scraper did remove most of the silicone sealant so I’ll give it a star but I needed to finish the job with a Stanley knife blade.
