I have been doing my own nails for a long time and I found that this brand is amazing! I used many brands before and nothing compares to it for me. With other brands, you need to apply layer upon layer just to get an even color tone, especially with skin tones such as these ones. However with this brand, the skin tones needs 2 layers max! I love it! I have had so many compliments and I think I have already spent half the money in my budget on buying more items from Beetles!

This is my second purchase of Beetles products and I love it 💕 I'm also new to doing my own gel nails and the photo above is my third try and I'm speechless how easy is to do your own gel nails and to be able to make it like a professional 💅 I love how simple it is, I love these retro colors and the price 😀 It is a win, win situation ❤️ Big recommendations for this brend. I can honestly say that Beetles brand is top notch! I bought their TOP COAT & FOUNDATION set a while ago and found them to work well along with the Mia Primer (link below) & the DeepDream SUN8 54W LED UV Nail Lamp (link below). I did have another lamp that I purchased that did not achieve anywhere near these results with, so I can only state how I this product worked in combination with the other products used. Again, as stated before, initially I had another lamp that resulted in polishing peeling by day 7 on my fingernails. Then the lamp broke. I didn’t want to spend too much on a new lamp, but I had purchased quite a deal of polish at this point and didn’t want the entire “gel polish” thing to be a waste of my time and money, so I figured I’d give one last try. WOW, was that new lamp a game changer…No more excessive peeling, longer wear! The polish on my toes lasts for about 3 weeks, shine and all, and about 2 weeks for my fingernails. At that point I figured, I should buy some brighter colors for my toes for the summer and OUT OF NO WHERE ---- the compliments! I mean, while walking outside, at work, etc., even from complete strangers. The most important aspect of using this product is that you must understand it is not traditional nail-polish, but UV-setting gel-polish. Each are completely distinct, and must be respected for what they are, as this product needs proper preparation and UV-light drying (curing). With that said, this gel-polish application definitely takes a considerable amount of time to apply correctly, BUT if you follow their video instructions, it is well worth the time you invest up-front, because the polish lasts for more than 3 weeks-even in conditions where you wash dishes, do handyman work around the house, garden, rack dumbbells after training, and hands-on work. I think you get me. Being that this is a distinct product from traditional nail-polish, the nail-bed and cuticle preparation is vital to adhesion: Follow the video instructions explicitly. After buying the gel-polish the first time, using a gel-like-advertised base from another manufacturer, not setting it with the IV light, and all the polish floating off that same day when I did the dishes, I went back to Beetles site and researched what I did wrong: I did everything wrong the first time. After watching their video instructions, I realized that the preparation is similar to acrylic nail application and is vital to adhesion. Having experienced a first-time failure, and an amazing second, correct-prep application, I highly recommend that you invest in Beetles entire kit: • cuticle remover • cuticle pusher • files/buffers • UV light • fine brush (thin for around where cuticle meets nail) • primer • dehydrator • base coat • top coat The investment in all the necessary products will save you time and money in the process. Consider if you had to pay someone to gel your nails every couple of weeks, which is costly, or pay someone to prepare and polish your nails with traditional nail-polish, also costly and chips off much faster. When applied CORRECTLY and as per instructions, this gel-polish lasts A MONTH. Yes, an entire month with what I'd say is not-so-delicate care (ie: washing dishes, scrubbing floors, etc.). To me, it is completely worth it. Maybe you can consider it also. The curing time says between 60-90 seconds, BUT I chose to set each and every coat-from the base coat through top coat-for 120 seconds, which resulted in vibrant, super shiny, durable polish. I was truly astonished. In fact, they recommend you perform a "scratch test" by literally scratching the cured polish. I thought for sure it would peel up, but it did not: it had "give" like plastic, but rebounded into smooth, shiny, perfectly-covered nails. Pretty amazing. It is vital to apply each coat THINLY. If you are accustomed to wiping the brush and then picking up a "bead" of polish, that is way too much-this gel-polish will pool at your cuticle. Use only what you need to adhere and cover the nail because if you use too much, like I said, it will pool at the cuticle during curing. Do finish each nail with the very fine-haired brush around each cuticle. This is in order to seal the polish to the most vulnerable area to lifting. Finish each nail and cuticle with nail oil. Your nails will look beautiful, and the polish will have impressive longevity. I hope you have the success I did. Good luck!

I like these polishes. The bottles are a little small but it’s worth it and they are all buildable. You can make the color sheer or opaque. colors are a good variety. I’ll be purchasing other color packages as well
