The perfect boiled egg
I have been greatly enjoying boiled eggs cooked with this egg cooker. Can boil up to 6 eggs or poach up to 3 eggs. Comes with a measuring cup that has a needle at the base for puncturing eggs (make them cook faster). You need to use oil or similar on the tray for poached eggs so they don't stick to the tray. Cooks eggs in 3 min to 10 min depending on how runny you want the yolk. There is a loud alarm that sets off automatically when eggs are cooked. Sleek design. Cooks the perfect egg. Amazing value for money. Easy to use and comes with instruction booklet. Less water added = shorter timer & more runny egg.

Excellent egg cooker
This is my second attempt at an egg cooker with the first being unreliable so I went with a brand I knew. Works great, simple on/off switch and beeps when finished. It beeps when the water has ran out, that's why it's important to use the cup provided to put the right amount of water for your wanted egg type and readiness.Bargain for the money, simple to use, small enough to tuck away in a cupboard and looks pretty good if on the side.

Works very well, tad tricky
It's a really good egg cooker and gives consistent results but you have to learn to use the water meaurer correctly to get the right cook. Not sure about the need to puncture the top of the egg, the spike on the bottom of the measurer is brutal!Timing wise, it's probably not a lot quicker than filling up a pan from the kettle, just less faff. It's relatively easy to clean, apart from you'll need to use a drop of oil for poached eggs as it's not non stick.Very compact and doesn't take up a lot of space but the power cord is very short.Seems reasonable for the money if you get it at a discount.

Simplified daily eggs
The media could not be loaded. Easy to use, instructions are a little complicated but once you do it a couple of times you get the hang of it. Very simple, alarm goes off when it ends. Neat and tidy, simplifies morning routine vs boiling water in a pan! Consistent eggs and poached egg tray option too

It works but very bad design
For such a simple device it fails in so many ways. Sure it cooks eggs fine if you follow the instructions however there are so many poor design aspects:No automatic power off - once the eggs are cooked it constantly beeps until you turn it off manuallyDifficult to clean - the base has gaps where stuff accumulates, turns brown and is very difficult to clean, also the tray has lots of unnecessary corners that are difficult to cleanEasy to burn yourself - the lid handles are on the side, right where the burning steam comes out when you lift it

Perfect Egg Cooker for the Whole Family!
I've been using the Philips Egg Cooker 3000 Series for a few weeks now, and it has quickly become an essential appliance in our kitchen. Whether you prefer your eggs soft, medium, or hard-boiled, this egg cooker delivers consistent results every time. The ability to cook up to 6 eggs simultaneously is perfect for our family, especially during busy mornings. The included poached tray is a great bonus, allowing us to enjoy perfectly poached eggs without the usual hassle. I also appreciate the egg piercer accessory, which helps prevent cracking during cooking—such a thoughtful feature!Cleaning is a breeze, thanks to its simple design and easy-to-remove parts. Despite its capacity, the egg cooker is compact and doesn’t take up much space on our countertop. The 400W power ensures that the eggs cook quickly, and I love that the cooker has a sleek, modern look that fits nicely with our other kitchen appliances.Overall, the Philips Egg Cooker 3000 Series has exceeded my expectations. It's reliable, easy to use, and perfect for anyone who loves eggs cooked just right. Highly recommended!

Not great boil over all the time
Poor effort. Cooks the eggs ok. Strange shape and very hard to clean the base.Boils over every time.

Wish I'd Bought This Years Ago!
I'm absolutely chuffed with this purchase! Perfectly cooked eggs every time. The water measure pot is a little confusing and instructions aren't very clear (I ended up googling them and found a much better written language manual) but once you've got the hang of it it's so simple to use. Easy to clean also, would recommend using a non scratch scourer on the metal circular plate immediately after use to avoid discolouration build up. Super handy, especially for poached eggs which I can never get the swirl/cook time right on on the hob!
