The sheild arrived nicely packaged in a cardboard box. The sheild is metalic with leather like straps for your arm. My grandson loves it as do I. However, it had a significant paint defect that did not appear to be a scratch. Which my wife was disappointed by. *We have not contacted the seller for resolution due to the enjoyment our grandbabies get from playing with.*

Shield looks nice. The straps on it are not good quality. One of the snaps came apart the first time it was unsnapped. The loops that hold the straps on are not attached very well either. One loop came loose (tack welds broke) within the first day from being carried around. This would be nice to look at for decoration but will not stand up to being used for anything.

Our grandson loves this shield. It is very well made.
