Happy with it!
I'm very happy with it. It doesn't get too hot. It feels sturdy and stable. It pops the popcorn well. It does leave unpopped kernals like most do but not so much as to be an issue. I usually repop them. It doesn't kick out all the kernals during popping which I appreciate. Although I've learned the trick of using a large paper bag under the spout to keep popcorn from flying all over. Happy!

Heat it up before use for about 3 minutes.
This unit is terrible. It looks good, but that is all. When popping, unpopped kernels forcefully fly out of the unit and many remain at the bottom of the unit when done unpopped. First, I followed the instructions and heated the unit for about 3 minutes to warm it up. And then I added the kernels after I shut off the unit. Then I turned it back on rather quickly to pop. I then needed to shut the unit for 10 minutes to cool it off before repeating the process to pop more corn. If not, the instructions say that the unit will overheat. Definitely a process just for popcorn. I did use it for about 2 months before I got fed up with it and went back to my old popper. It is now sitting in the box ready to be donated to the Goodwill, or maybe I'll just discard it. I wouldn't want to wish this unit on someone else.

Nice hot air popper
It works well one it is preheated. I love that it has an off and on switch. Price is good. The popcorn tasted nice and was crunchy. Better than my old pop lite machine. Nice size. However I wished it was BPA FREE for health conscious persons.

Works like a charm.
After trying to replace my old Nostalgia air popper (looks exactly like this one but in red color) that died after about 5 years of heavy use, I tried about 3 different poppers before finding THE ONE. I bought another Nostalgia (APH200) exactly the same and thought that would do it. It worked fair but not really as good as I thought it should, so I started a search. The reviews for the Popcorn Maker Hot Air Popcorn Popper (no brand name as far as I could see) were pretty good so I ordered that one, in fact I ordered it twice! The first one outgassed a terrible smell and the popcorn tasted a bit peppery. I had some bronchial irritation after eating it - I tried it three times, same results. I reported it as defective, returned it, and then ordered a new one. This one outgassed the same exact way with the same smell so I did not use it and returned it. Then I ordered the Nostalgia Retro popper - cute little compact thing but it threw kernels out all over the place and was not too friendly!. So that went back and I decided to give this Nostalgia APH200 in aqua color a try. It works great as far as I'm concerned - only has maybe 5 or so kernels that do not pop. Maybe I'm just lucky and got one that works well? So I use the aqua Nostalgia popper and have kept the Nostalgia red one as a backup. Oh, I did try other types of popping - microwave in a paper bag - not my cup of tea. On the stove - good but too much trouble for me and it doesn't always turn out good. I guess I just wanted something easy and good and the air popper works the best. BTY, I use a Tupperware 32 cup extra large bowl to catch the popped corn and I warm the butter+olive oil in a small pan on the stove rather than using the small container on top of the unit. Turn on the air popper for 2 minutes to warm it up, turn unit off, add 1/4 cup kernels, turn unit back on. After popping is done, add your butter mixture and salt. Enjoy.

Nice for a novelty
It's a cute little popcorn maker. But I will be using it as more of a novelty on the shelf, beside my DVD's. I was expecting something a little bigger by looking at the advertisement photo and measurements. The actual cage for the popcorn is about 6 3/4 inches tall from the front end where the popcorn exists and it's 5 inches wide. I used a cereal box to give you an idea of the actual size. The main reason I give it a 3-star rating is that as you can see it didn't have enough fan force for all of the kernels to come out of the cooking chamber. To get them out you have to turn the maker almost upside down, while that not a problem for most, I believe it's a danger because the unit is still hot and one might get burned. I uploaded a video of it actually poping if Amazon will play it, acted like it was buffering while uploading. Excuse the noise on the video once the popcorn maker stops, I'm on oxygen and that was my pump making the noise.

Good popper
Works perfect. Excellent for the money. Much healthier than greasy microwave. Just add a pinch of pink salt and some Kerry butter. Oh yeah.

I had one of these many years ago and loved it. Now I got one again. Very easy to use and it really does a great job. The only issue I have is that it does not melt the butter as well as my old pop corn maker did. But if you follow the directions it does do well with popping the corn and does not burn. But have to warn you that the plastic top does get really hot. Would I order it again? Yes I would.

Easy clean up. Easy to use. Not a deal breaker, but not as large a capacity as our last one.

It pops 99% of all the kernels I put in it without burning any. Ran it exactly as instructed with the 3 minute warm up time and it works like a charm. I haven’t had any issues with smells or overheating/smoke. I generally run it for smaller portion of popcorn. Never need a big portion so can’t say if that would make any difference. I usually put in appproximately 1/4 cup.
