They're cool. Pun intended.
I upgraded my PC a moon or two ago. Was using the stock AMD cooler that came with the processor, and running my various music softwares for more than 15 minutes inevitably crashed from the hotness of my dope tracks. Upgraded to the Cooler Master 212 cpu cooler, and noticed a huge difference, but because of the sheer magnitude of the thing, I had to reconfigure my case fans (namely, side panel fans). This caused my case to become pressure negative, and restricted airflow to my SLI graphics cards. I was dropping frames and freezing a bit while playing MTG Arena, which isn't even graphically intensive as modern games go. So, I again reconfigured my case, and found stability by cranking my fan controller to the max, and leaving the side panel open with those fans reinstalled. Not only is this abhorrent, but also made it loud, and again music production became awful sitting next to a wind tunnel. I almost put the fans on the OUTSIDE of my case like a HEATHEN, so I knew I had to find a better way. I bought a new case that's got space for 5x 120mm fans, and the CM 212 can hold 2x 120mm in a push-pull configuration, so that's 7x 120mm fans in the photo. Also got a 4-pin 5-way splitter, so I can ditch the fan controller, and let the motherboard control fan speeds. 3 in the front pulling cold air, 1 top and 1 rear exhaust, and the push-pull setup on the cooler. All configured, it's kept my cpu below 60°c while under 80% load for an hour straight. The best part is that the overall volume is now a fraction of what it was, and I've got 2 fans more than I had before. I still have yet to stress test the graphics cards, but I believe that will be better as well, since I've got more air intake now, and they mostly only push heat through the rear expansion slots. I don't push the GPUs a lot anyway, I'm a filthy casual. I did fiddle with plugging the new fans into the fan controller, and it did increase the volume, so that has some impact as I knew it would. Don't get me wrong, if I crank it up to the max, these fans do get rather loud. Even at max though, they're still only about 60% of the old fans' volume, and the breeze feels about the same. It's almost scary, because I can barely tell if they're working or not when my head is more than three feet away. It's hard to explain without hearing it yourself, but these fans have maybe a bit more gentle hums than most fans, but far less whirs and whines, and somewhat less windy wooshes. Basically, blowing out your birthday candles is louder than 7 of these fans, and moves the same amount of air. All seven worked as expected, no duds. The PC gods smiled upon me this day. PROS: -Gosh darn quiet. Surprisingly so, even. -Move a fair amount of air. So, there. -Relatively cheap considering such high quality. -4-pin PWM FTW. CONS: -No RGB. My PC is dark inside, and therefore less powerful now. I can pretend it's not, but I know it is. TL;DR: These fans are quieter than the shy kid trying to talk to the girl he likes. They aren't cheaply made, even though the price suggests otherwise. If you really need RGB, you can still get LED strips. 100% recommend.

It works and it's quiet.
I can't hardly heard unless my room is completely quiet.

They are very quite
These fans live up to their brand name. I have 3 of them along the ceiling of my case acting as chimney's. Since I have 7 other fans (besides the 3 be quiet! fans), very low noise was important for these fans. I also wanted fans that could spin up to a higher RPM than the standard 1600 that many manufacturers seemed to have settled on as a default. These fans have a top speed of 2040 to 2060 RPM. They do put out some noise if you are running them at full speed but I wanted the capability to suck out a lot of hot air quickly if a situation required that but they were never intended to run anywhere near that top speed normally. All 3 fans are generally running anywhere from 965 to 978 RPM. You really cannot hear them at that speed because I have 7 other fans that are louder and any noise these be quiet! fans make is lost underneath the background noise the other fans make. I am very happy with these fans. They are ideal along the inside top of my case (Corsair 5000 Airflow). They are designed to move air and they do a good job of it. The other fans in my case are all made by Corsair. I have a 340mm radiator mounted along the vertical side vent with 3 fans mounted on the radiator and I also have 3 fans mounted in the front of the case. These 6 fans all suck air into the case and across the radiator for the 3 that are mounted to it. The rear fan is exhausting air out. My radiator is a corsair and the fans that came with it are the fans that are mounted to it. The 3 in the front and the rear fan are mag lev fans. While in theory the mag lev fans should be super quiet because there isn't any friction between moving parts, it doesn't quite work out that way. They are pretty quiet but the be quiet! fans are even quieter than the mag lev fans. That is pretty damned impressive. I have only had them about 5 months now so how well they hold up over time is still unknown but so far so good.

Quiet, powerful fans with consistent results
be Quiet! has always delivered amazing products. The build is consistently strong, helping move hot and cold air throughout my case! I consider this a great value for the cost. I like the black color, matches well with my case. Performance of the speed of the fans were what I’d expect.

Good Product but......
Ordered 2 additional fans because I really liked the first set I got. The 2nd set was as to be expected, they work great and are as quiet as the first order. I am am disappointed that on this order I received returned/used fans. You could tell both boxes were opened (one box having a small tear) because of the way the cables were wrapped. One had the cable wrapped around the fan and the other was just flopping in the box and neither had any kind of tie on it. One of the fans the mounting screws were missing. For the price I guess one cannot complain too much but when you buy something you should get new or at least get repacked so it it appears new.

Quiet++++
Day 1 experience: Holy crap! so much quieter than the stock fans that were in my rack chassis. I'm not sure i can say they push the same volume of air, but that's ok, I just wanted quieter. both of mine were 4-pin PWM.

Good replacement for Drobo fan.
This is an excellent and almost inaudible fan for the Drobo 5D and similar multiple disk enclosures. The connector doesn't fit the non-standard Drobo fan socket, so you'll have to cut off the connector from the old fan and solder it to the wires from the new fan. Ignore the sensor wire, just hook up the 12 volt and ground wires. Once that's done, the installation is routine. I have to put my ear up against the back to be sure the fan is working. It keeps my hard drives at about 40°C, well within their operating range. You can check that with an inexpensive hand-held IR thermometer, available at Amazon. The original fan failed, and the Drobo shut down on an overtemp.

Malgré sa taille le ventilos est très silencieux ce qui est très agréable !

Great fan in my server, dropped my HDD temps considerably which is exactly what was required! Only downside is the 4-pin PWM connectors, I had to buy a 7 port PWM hub to run it as the machine only had SATA power connectors. Works well and grabbed a great bargain price, would buy more when on sale again!
