VINSUN® B22 LED bulb 5W - 40W light bulbs - warm white - 400lm, B22 golf ball LED - Pack of 10Excellent replacements for traditional incandescent bulbs. The bulbs are unusually short at 74mm (most LED or other ‘energy saver’ bulbs tend to be around 100mm or more) which is great as they tend not to protrude from the old-fashioned light fittings designed for the older bulbs. They are very bright and certainly seem to out-perform a 40W incandescent bulb; we have installed them in our living room, hall and landing and they are almost too bright!

Nice colour temperature, useful compact size, as a replacement in small light fittings. I bought a pack of 10, and 2 are gone now, so not too bad for reliability, although probably short of the claimed 25k hours.

Awesome bulbs at a fantastic price! I bought the warm light version and they are perfect for night use. I didn't want anything too bright.. Works very well in a dimmer lamp too. Love them and would buy more.. I purchased one for every room and lamp in the house! Perfect!

Installed these in about 5 fittings. Initially they are bright and an excellent 40W incandescent replacement. Despite a good claimed MTBF of tens of thousands or hours, they started failing after only a few hundred. After four failed I complained and was given a 'no-hassle' refund by Amazon for the entire batch. The star is solely for Amazon's reaction, not the longevity of the bulbs.

Was initially very pleased with these - a good bright replacement for the old incandescent golf ball style bulbs which we used in a number of light fittings around the house. However, despite the claims of "25,000 hours life time" (approx 3 years of continuous use) they have been failing after about 9 months of normal use (i.e. not on in the day time). Very disappointed as I thought LED bulbs were meant to last for ages. Will now be looking for an alternative brand when these need replacing as whilst these appear good value, they only last a fraction of the claimed life span.

I bought a pack of these in September. I have used just three of them and already one has started to fail. It is not clear how one goes about requesting a replacement.The bulbs themselves are impressive and probably brighter than I would expect from an incandescent 40 watt bulb.

Great energy saving bulbs. They are just as bright if not brighter than the light bulbs I replaced and running some quick numbers have saved me around £2 a month of my energy, doesn't sound like a lot but it all adds up!

After complaints, from my wife, that our existing energy saving lightbulbs were too dim and took ages to warm up. I still wanted to save energy. She wanted an electrician in to install more lights. A set of these bulbs and I now have a brightly lit dining room. A happy wife. No electrician bill. Still saving money.Instant brighter light plus these are smaller than other energy efficient golf ball light bulbs. Very happy with the purchase.
