Cost effective way to battle mice & insects, small & easy to handle.
Very cost effective - 72 TRAPS! I placed these traps in my RV combined with Peppermint "sachets" to get ahead of a mouse problem I have experienced in my RV. Nice size, easy to handle if you don't put your fingers inside the box. They are super sticky - be careful assembling them. Very effective: mice: 0, but lots of insects that sweep in when opening doors. no smell. Easy to remove. I don't have to don gloves to remove a trap with a deceased creature.

Kills brown recluse spiders and detected a brown recluse problem!
I broke my ribs in a car accident a couple of years ago and I stayed at my mothers house for a few month until I recuperated. Along my stay in the family room at night I would notice these spiders. I thought they were brown recluse spiders but my mother didn't believe me in what I was seeing. I stay the weekends on occasion at her house and earlier before this spring in March I had convinced my mom we needed an exterminator she allowed for a one time spray because I saw a couple of dead spiders in a curtain that appeared to be a brown recluse and my mom too had house centipedes so she was willing to do the one time spray. The exterminator sprayed and sat traps out (these exact same traps) and it caught several house centipedes, spiders that were cellar spiders, and silverfish. I removed it a couple of months afterwards because primarily I was tired of checking the traps when I came over and was tired of seeing them over the house. Well my mother developed a kitchen ant problem this summer that everyone in the town seemed to have and no bug tap worked to kill the ants we called the exterminator back and he sprayed again and killed the total ant population with ant bait within 30 minutes and we are on a 3 month spray plan. About 4 weeks after he sprayed I had stayed a weekend at my mother's house and that first night I had just happened to go to the dining room area to the back bathroom to use the restroom around 9 PM and saw this huge spider running along the wall in the dining room. It was moving very fast and I quickly got a broom out of the pantry room and smashed it. I originally didn't want to deal with it and thought about flushing the dead spider down the toilet. But something in my mind told me not to and to put it in a paper towel. I awakened my mother out of bed to show her and in response we showed our exterminator who confirmed it was brown recluse and pregnant at that! He informed us to buy these traps as that is what they use and they will kill and monitor the brown recluse situation. We were told that once you get them it is extremely hard to get rid of them and there is no guarantee. My mother lives in a 1940's to 1950's house and because of the age of the house the age is really starting to show and we were told it would be impossible to get rid of them totally but the spraying and these traps would help control the population. We were told to get rid of all cardboard boxes. and throw away all old clothing that was stored as that is their recluse hiding spots. We were also told that June, July, and August is mating season for the brown recluse spiders and that is when they are most active before they recluse themselves during the winter hence getting rid of things they hide in during the winter time. We bought these traps in late July and put them out. We were told to replace them every 30 days and there is no such thing as putting out too many traps and I put out the whole box. I decided it would be best to check them all before we put the next set of traps out in 30 days. I am at her house Labor Day weekend and happened to be in the kitchen and out of the corner of my eye in one of the traps we caught another brown recluse spider, I also call a cellar spider in there with it, and have seen some with the house centipedes as well. New traps are bought and are expected to arrive Tuesday. We will check the rest of the traps then. This controls the bug and brown recluse population and helps confirm hot spots in finding the brown recluses. They are plenty sticky enough to trap almost anything actually they are overly sticky but that is what you need to catch these critters. They are the perfect size but my only complaint is they are hard to put together so expect to ruin a few until you get the hang of putting them together. They did smell when you first put them out but we were told that is the pheromone smell to attract the brown recluses to the traps. They ae non toxic and It is completely harmless to pets as long as they ae folded. My mother has a cat in the house and the cat doesn't even bother with them or go up to any of them even if their is a bug is in them. With proper maintenance of three month sprays, eliminating cardboard boxes, old clothes, and these traps the population will be kept to a minimum. If your looking at way to control brown recluses and/or other insects then this is the way to go! Just remember there is never not enough to catch these insects. Also on a side note. There was fear of living with these brown recluse spiders because they are venomous and can cause skin lesions but we were told because they ae a reclusive spider they don't want anymore to do with you than you want to do with it and people that have them rarely have gotten bit. There was a story of a family who had tons of these in there home for many years ad nobody ever got bit. Just a precaution to always have some sort of shoes like house slippers on in the house at all times, check your clothes, shoes, sheets, and blankets before you use them and you will be oaky. Also keep beds away from the wall so they can't climb into bed. These spiders do not jump so if you don't give them access to crawl up into a bed they won't be there. Bits usually occur when they are disturbed by putting a shoe or shirt on they were in our in a sheet or blanket that you allowed them access to climb into. Otherwise the worst fear is just knowing they are there!

Good product
These glu boards work well and have used them for years around our house. I cut them in half and place them close to the wall in hidden places. Have caught numerous bugs including scorpions of various zones. They work well and must say, very sticky.

Works, but hard to handle
They frequently have glue along the edges, making it difficult to handle them. Also, I, or my cat, seems to step on them accidentally. I put them along walls, where they are out of the way, to try to prevent that. I suggest not using these if you have pets. There's also the issue of what to do when you catch a mouse. I've been awoken by the sound of a screaming mouse, to find it with half it's face ripped off trying to pull free of the glue. Rather horrid. I then drown it in a Folgers coffee container. Then it has to be disposed of. We're not supposed to put dead animals in the garbage bins, but I do anyway. Or, if you don't find the mouse, then there's the smell of a rotting mouse that lets you know it's there.

I have used Trapper Max for years with great results.
I live in the country, surrounded by woods, critters and bugs. Overall, this has been the best value, most effective solution, I have found. Even better than when I used to have my home sprayed monthly. (I started using them to avoid the chemicals.) I have about 28 strategically placed around my garage, workshop, and split level home (Walk out basement, 9 exterior doors.) I discovered them when a professional bug control service placed some in our garage about 7 years ago. I have used them ever since.I use a layered approach, with several in the garage, then just inside the garage to house entrance, and a few in dark corners etc. I also place them in corners near the basement and workshop doors. The ones by the garage door fill up the fastest and I check them once a month, sometimes more often when crickets are hatching, or other broods explode. (If they get too full insects will walk over other insects and not get trapped, or they can use other insects a leverage to escape. They will also trap lizards, mice, shrews, etc. The larger animals will start to stink if you don't dispose of them quickly.) The one in the interior entry ways will catch some, but far less than the garage ones, and the ones in the main house may only have one or two after 3 months. (They lose their scent after three or four months, so I replace them at 3 months.)

Fantastic 24-hr/day protection from bugs.
I have no affiliation w/this company nor reward for this review. I've been buying their brand for multiple years. Price is acceptable for this quantity. Best trapper and far better than chemicals. Other brand has printing on the exposed face of the boards, requiring more than a glance to spot what is caught. I use them without folding (have no pets), but position where no inadvertent stepping on them. Place just inside garage doors but out of sight from outside or birds/lizards will pursue trapped insects. Replace new inside home, moving slightly used to garage, and leave for weeks to maximize catch. Great for scorpions, spiders, all kinds of bugs, even caught a gopher on one, as well as several small snakes and (sad) birds. I keep more than a dozen in garage, several under kitchen range, several under entertainment center, dressers, china cabinet, in corner behind toilets, behind doors at hinges, and just inside patio sliding door furthest from opening handle. Never spray poison for bugs inside now. Great invention!
