Bone saw.
Heavy duty, meat and bone saw.. It takes a heavy duty man to operate it though.

Good saw, blade was disappointing
I was little disappointed in the cutting abilities. Handle and everything else are great, just needs a different blade.

Nice saw
Cut right through frozen pork roast. Easy to clean

Great if you ever break down larger cuts of meat.
We definitely didn't need one this large but have never ordered or used one before. So I thought bigger was better. It did work great but I'd definitely recommend ordering a smaller one too. Great to break down something larger like sheep/ hog/beef. But really hog or sheep could use something under 40" probably easier.

Blade isn't great.
Frame has some nicks and dings, but is straight and assembled well, unlike some of the cheaper ones I tried first. The blade didn't cut very well. I have a Lem and the Lem blade is far superior to the one that came with this.

Just What The Butcher Ordered
High quality saw. Used it to cut a pork butt in half. Cut the roast all around with a chef's knife, use the saw to cut through the bone. Not a large butcher's saw, perfect for home use. Highly recommend.

Excellent, if you need it
Most home cooks probably do not need this saw. It is much easier to buy exactly what one needs- asking the butcher to cut it as requested if necessary- and not have to bother oneself. I am not one of those home cooks. I AM a home cook... but we get almost all our meat from a meat CSA, and we are not really able to discuss the finer points of exactly how we'd like our beef shanks cut, for instance; we get what we get. And that's very high-quality and humanely-raised and pastured... but is sometimes not in a form that's easy to use. Like shanks and marrow bones. We get long bones; these are not most useful for cooking. Similarly with trotters. (I'll add that we specifically ask for these and the normal monthly subscription does not contain them.) This saw will make these and similar cuts SO much more useful! I am really excited! I'll add that I am an aspiring home butcher; I'm good at poultry, and am looking to try, say, a ham. And i need a saw for that. I've only given it a quick test thus far, but it seems very effective; the tricky part is to get the meat/bone held so that it can't slide around while one's sawing. I may need a vise for the kitchen, too. But- I am very pleased and excited about the opportunities I now have!

The meat saw was well packaged. The saw is easy to use as the handle is ergonomic in design resulting in less fatigue on the wrist. The saw cuts very easily. It is sturdy and well made. The directions on box are very useful when having to remove the blade.

Handle is loose ,you can't rely on this ,so i returned it back as it wouldn't last for long ,design of the handle it's not good, not steady and it creates space where all the food debris will accumulated. Breakage etc. Not the product you expect for that price...
