Very good quality
My wife and I bought this machine as a gift for our daughter. She loves baking and used to spend hours kneading dough for bread and cakes. So we decided to look for a machine that would make her job easier and not be so tiring. We were undecided between KitchenAid and Cuisinart. We chose the Cuisinart, which is more affordable but very powerful and has a larger bowl. It comes with several accessories and is very easy to clean. The timer function is great; you don't have to worry about turning the machine off. It does the job by itself. The variety of colors is a great deal. It's very stable, and being entirely metallic, it doesn't wobble. There's something for everyone. 10 out of 10.

Bigger Motor, Quiet ,Lighter weight, Price compared to an Upgraded Kitchen Aide.
Used 1st time today to make 4 batches of different cookies, over 25 dozen total. 2 were very heavy doughs and the mixer held up like a champ. Very sturdy.(inc.videos and photos) I did notice it vibrates and when starting off creaming butter and sugars, you do have to scrape the bottom of the bowl, but after the flour is added it wasn't an issue. It's quieter and lighter than my old Kitchen Aide, It has a bigger motor and I like that you can lift the head while mixing to clean dough off the blade. I'll check back when I do my bread, which killed my Kitchen Aide mixer!! I chose this because to get a more powerful Kitchen Aide It would've been over $700.00.

Great value for a major name brand mixer. Compares to the Kitchen Aid for less money!
This mixer is such a great value for the money! The quality compares with Kitchen Aid, but at a better price. It also accepts their attachments. That makes this mixer versatile and adaptable compared to others. The overall size is outstanding. It doesn't take up much counter space or can be easily stored away until you need it. The mixing is so good. I've used it for bread, cookies, biscuits and many other baked items. Quiet and powerful. There are several color choices, so I got the red one for my kitchen. Looks great! I really like the large 5.5 qt stainless bowl. Easy to clean and holds plenty of ingredients. The plastic shield works excellent. It comes with the basic paddles, whisk and dough hook. I really like Cuisinart products and I have no issues with Kitchen Aid. I just think this is a great value when compared side by side. I bought this mixer with my own money. NO BS reviews from me. Just the honest truth and my personal opinion from real world experience with it. Could not find any flaws or serious issues with this mixer or the seller. Highly recommend.

Makes bread dough and cookie batches really well, easy to store and clean up
Great machine - easy to use, store, and to clean! I've made my gluten free sugar cookies with this mixer and I make gluten free sourdough bread dough (a couple loaf sets) weekly in this. It's been wonderful! I bought this at the November 2024 holiday season as a gift to myself and I am glad that I did, given that it has not just aided me in weekly baking, but saves me time with it. This is really easy to clean and wipe after each use and to clean the bowl, too. The machine was packed really well and arrived on time after ordering it. It comes with everything I needed, all the paddles and hooks, and a nice splash guard too. The settings and maneuverability of this machine are really easy to work with. I love the size of the bowl for all the things I need to make with it. My husband has used it for his mashed potatoes as well. It stores easily on our counter. I did buy a cover and a case for it and do recommend that if you have dust or pets. I do think having a mixer slide on the counter would make it even better to store and use. This unit is hearty and will last years to come. I am glad I bought this brand, it is really worth the decent price.

In the end, this was my choice.
In search of a new mixer that would handle bread dough, I read reviews, articles, and watched videos for weeks and hours. In the end I chose to compare the Instant (Instapot) mixer and this Cuisinart. Although I eventually chose the Cuisinart, here are the pros and cons of this mixer: PROS... 1. I love how the housing lifts. It has weight, and it doesn't kick up. It is nice and smooth. 2. A feature not all mixers have is for the beaters to be able to continue rotating while the housing is lifted so that extra batter can be released. This one has that ability! 3. The attachments connect smoothly and are ALL metal! 4. The dial for speed is easy to use and even has a helpful attachment and speed key near it. However, that should be imprinted, not a sticker. 5. I love the magnetic cover that easily hides the front opening for add-on attachments. CONS... 1. The motor size is only 500W, which is not typically good for heavy doughs. However, this Cuisinart is supposed to handle them, and it has a 3-year warranty, so I am hopeful the company knows the appliance. 2. The bowl size is only 5.5 qts, and bread mixing usually requires 6.5. Again, we'll see how well that works in the long run. I would have liked to see the bowl slightly offset on the stand so it is easier to add ingredients. 3. Finally I do not like this style of splatter guard. It is in two pieces and must be removed when changing out the beaters. I prefer the style that connects to the lifting head. Overall, I am happy with my choice, and I look forward to decades with this mixer.

Highest quality and best value among consumer stand mixers
Just so you know, I purchased this item in October 2023 and this review is December 2025. Why 2 years later? Most reviews are 'out of the box' or otherwise written within the first few weeks of ownership. Other than the obvious, a lot about a product like this doesn't show up until lots of use. You will note the 5 stars. I would give it more if I could. Years ago, I had a Cuisinart food processor that did a good job with bread dough, but I wanted greater capacity. I moved up to a larger KitchenAid food processor which claimed it could knead bread. We broke one trying to knead bread dough with the KA FP. It was under warranty and KA sent a replacement. No better. I believe KA eventually sent 3 replacements and each struggled, overheated, and was a mess to clean up afterwards. Bread dough would end up in unreachable portions of the KA mixing bowl. That took away my enthusiasm for baking bread! No way was I going to make a long term use bet on KA for a stand mixer! Sorry to say that the KitchenAid of old is not the KitchenAid of today. Cuisinart, on the other hand, is still among the highest quality appliances. I am a serious bread baker to the point that I buy rye and winter wheat berries and mill my own flour from the berries and also from soybeans, whole oats and brown rice. This Cuisinart mixer has a strong motor, easily changeable mixing blades, and a big bowl. It has handled all of my breads with perfection. Never once overheated or struggled to keep turning through the stickiest of doughs! After preparing the dough, little of it remains on blade or bowl and what does remain is easily removable with a silicone spatula-- and easy to add to the rest of the dough. Everything--from blade to bowl and all of the utensils-- goes and fits into the dishwasher and comes out clean-- 100% free of bread dough remnants. FYI...I bought the ice cream adapter bowl and that also works well for making ice cream and gelato using this Cuisinart stand mixer. If you are reading reviews in search of a stand mixer for bread dough, specialty pastry dough, or anything else needing a stand mixer, I highly recommend the Cuisinart. Two-plus years after purchase, I am sharing this review having put the mixer through rigorous use. It has earned my highest marks in all categories.

Great value! Great quality!
Very comparable to the Kitchen Aid but costs less! Have had this a couple of years and it’s still working great! It does almost everything the Kitchen Aid does and looks identical. Very useful and makes baking easier!

Wonderful
I wish that I had purchased a Cuisinart Stand Mixer years ago. It is perfect in every way. Quiet, easy to use, easy to clean-up, and does a fantastic job of mixing and making bread.
