A quality switch at a bargain price.
I wasnt sure with this being a no-name brand item, but it has performed nearly flawless. I'm using this as my main switch between firewalla and the rest of my network. With the exception of one power outage that caused it to reset so I had to go back into the gui and configure vlans again it has bot had any issues. There is a slight learning curve to how the gui is setup, but I had that with the other name brand smart switches I have, they are all just a bit different in their configuration.

Good hardware / Firmware Bugs though - Great support from seller
SLIGHT UPDATE - support from the seller (CCTV Supply) is STELLAR - they responded via my email request for new firmwared in about 5 minutes. Installed the new firmware (which went well) and issues still remained, but seller states that they will contact the manufacturer and report the issues and update me. This is awesome support to have someone follow up just before 5 PM on a Friday before a holiday weekend. Impressed with the support, and updated to 4 stars. ORIGINAL REVIEW is below: Overall, hardware and feature wise, this is a very good switch. However, the firmware appears to be very buggy (2 are odd but workable, other is an actual usage bug). Note that there is no direct link to download firmware for the device, as a firmware update could potentially resolve these items. Here are the issues I've seen so far: This is on Firmware Version: V200.1.10. 1. VLAN/PVID issues with DHCP - If DHCP is turned on, switch appears to randomnly send DHCP support on different VLANs. So you never know what your DHCP server will send back. The switch SHOULD only send DHCP request on the PVID VLAN (in my case I have this set to the default of 1). Switch is configured correctly (port 9 is Trunk, PVID 1, other VLANs are Tagged) and switch connected to also configured correctly (equivalent settings). So you never know which VLAN the request goes out on, and consequently what IP / subnet comes back (I have static DHCP reservations on my upstream switch). Workaround is to have the switch with a local Static IP, and that "appears" to work correctly (upstream router likes it, and does seem the set IP on the correct VLAN if you do this). However, this is a basic setting that should work, and makes me loose confidence in the firmware on this switch. 2. The on/off switches graphically are backwards, it appears an option switched on (shown by it being blue) is to the LEFT and not to the RIGHT (which is the standard across anything I've seen). 3. Couple of misspellings, ie: "coper" instead of correct "copper". While 2 and 3 are minor and just cosmetic, this in conjunction with the function issue makes me question whether this is a good purchase or not. After performing the workaround I mentioned for the VLAN/DHCP issue, switch seems to function as it should, though I have only done basic setup. The firmware is a bit more basic (and ugly UI wise) than some of the others sold here that are similar (and probably have exact same hardware inside). I have just now reached out to tech support on this, and will update my review based on the response / resolution I get (I don't expect a reply for a few days due to it being a Friday and the MLK holiday though).

Great Tech Support..
This switch has been working great. If you decide to use the 10G SFP+ port, be sure to get the RealHD brand SFP+ module. Also I would like to say how great their tech support is. I sent them a message when I could not get my first SFP+ module to work. I received an almost immediate response from CCDTV. They let me know how to solve my issue and even sent me a direct link to the module.

The good reviews are no BS.
This 24-port 2.5G switch really is an exceptional value—it's not "cheap," it's just more reasonably priced compared to other high-density options. I'll admit, I was a bit worried about buying from some "no-name" brand at such a competitive price. But after I merged two 8-port 2.5G switches and a 16-port 1G switch into this unit, I've been super happy with it. It's totally streamlined my setup and cleared out a lot fo my homelab's rat's nest. Plus, it handles the heat of Phoenix summers in my warm office without any trouble—and all that without a fan. Seriously, that’s pretty impressive. My setup includes an Asustor NAS with two 2.5G ports and a bunch of miniPCs, each rocking at least one 2.5G port. This switch takes everything I throw at it, keeps the speed up and hasn’t maxed out the bandwidth once, at least as far as I can tell, even when I really push it. So, to wrap this up, this switch is solid, performs like a champ, and the price is on point. It works great with the Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a cables I already had, supporting a wide array of devices (I even have a laptop 100+ ft from the switch, 2.5gig connectivity - no problem). I'm totally impressed with how it has sorted out all my networking issues. I am thrilled with this purchase.

Value for the price
The VLAN interface is easier to use than competing brands at this price.

Mehh get what you pay for. sortof
I got the managed 8 port 2.5 with 1sfp+. works good as un-managed switch. log in port is 192.168.2.1 if your network is different than the .2.x power everything on like normal set computer to a static IP of the network. example 192.168.2.100 then reset the switch. Note this will take you off line. wash rence and repeat tell you can log into the .2.x network. recommend changing web interface IP address to your network. this is kinda normal but not explained in the instructions. I had to do this a number of times to get it to work. If you do an update.. you will only see one line of text on the left side. move mouse up and down around the text to see the other text. switch is full duplex with basic controls. I do have some issues with the 10GB SFP+ port. It appears to kill the network some times . use it to bridge two different switches. again keep trying tell it works. will update if problems prosiest.

Fast, small, and quiet Managed Switch
Frist off, the shipper/ seller took at least 12 days to get this RealHD 5-port Managed Switch to my address. Second: THERE ARE ZERO INSTRUCTIONS or a MANUAL. So to enter the GUI you will need to set and ethernet NIC to MANUAL: "choose 192.168.2.5" and then connect that PC to the switch. Then from that PC open a browser and go to 192.168.2.1 username: admin password: admin (dont forget to change that default password ASAP) Bob's your Uncle, ENJOY! Now for the Meat & Potatoes. This little one is nice and quick, gaming latency is super low. I have not setup the VLAN Tags and tried to isolate my devices yet. That's it, I'm annoyed, so the review is over for now ... I hope this helps anyone looking to be able to manage your new RealHD Switch

Build quality is excellent, but the price for the feature set makes this a no-brainer.
I bought this for $300 after reading the more obviously tech-savvy reviews. I replaced a Cisco SG100-16 as part of a long-term upgrade to the house and my home lab; this thing is in my top 5 for amazing value-for-money tech items. You can use it as a dumb switch right out of the box and save the active feature set for later, or play around until you screw up and then just reset the whole thing to try again. I cannot say enough good things bout this switch for anyone needing (or, tbh, wanting) a well-featured managed switch. Build quality is good, the entire thing is very sturdy, and the footprint lets it fit just about anywhere. The 2.5gb port speed is gravy, and I'm not sure I'll ever have call to use the 10gb ports, but the geek in me loves having the option.
