Best 12" sub for the money.
The media could not be loaded. This Skar audio SDR 12-in D4 wired in parallel to 2 ohms and is 600W RMS and I'm only pushing 350 watts into it and it is so loud it hurts my ears being right behind the driver's seat in my Silverado. It was decently priced and even better when they go on sale. I used to have the IX 12-in D4 wired to 2 ohms as well and this speaker blows the other one out of the water with its deep lows and impressive loudness. Definitely worth giving it a try for a budget subwoofer it performs phenomenally. I can only imagine after the break in period. Definitely worth picking one up or two for that matter depending on your setup configuration. One is definitely plenty for me where I have it located. It shipped really quickly as well and I got it on time with my free shipping Amazon prime. Just remember to break it in respectfully. Skar audio recommends a minimum 24-hour break in. At half to low volume and at half too low power just to break them in properly. I only drive about an hour a day so it won't take me close to 24 days to break mine in but once they're broken you can crank up the wattage and the volume and they will sound amazing. I know my IX12 sounded amazing and over 2 years later still performs well. I put the IX12 in my wife's Kia forte and she loves it and it thumps really hard. My point being is if they're properly broke in they will last as any speaker should if properly broke in and properly powered with clean power.

2 year review
These speakers are amazing! They are hefty speakers and can really pound. I have two of these hooked up to a Skar 1200W amp, and they are able to shake the mirror off of my corolla! I have been using them consistently over the past two years and haven't had a single issue with them burning out, breaking, tearing, cracking, or anything. I put basic rail covers over them to protect them from other objects and have them tuned so they aren't clipping, if you have any of those happening any damage is 100% on you. These are part of the reason I have tinnitus, but I will never regret it. You won't feel like you are balling on a budget with these!

Perfect! Does EXACTLY as Advertised!
I got a skar amp as well as 2 of these subs, gotta say they sound great and they can take a beating, both sub came FROM SKAR AUDIO through Amazon so expect the best :) they was BRAND NEW right out of the box, I'm only saying this because I've bought "new" subwoofers on Amazon before and they definitely was not new and didn't come from the manufacturer. Hints why I bought these skar subs here from this link. They came with some nice stickers, but I drive around some sketchy places from time to time, (delivery driver) so I didn't put these on my car, the bass from these subs can get low my box is tuned right at 40hz but with these subs they get down in the 30s no problem, I do listen to Hiphop, Rap, Rock, Metal, Dubstep, and they all produce very well and accurate, better than the Pioneer Champion series I used to have. I have these subs on the Skar 800 amp (for now) these subs are fantastic for the price!

Not what I expected.........Much Much more!
I purchased this because I had 2 twelves prior to this on that didn't work out. I just wanted something to replace sound that I was missing. I wasn't expecting what this 12in woofer puts out! Deep, deep bass from a 750-watt amp! I never actually heard of this brand name before, but I'll remember it forever. I probably need to replace the factory speakers because this amp drowns them out unless you're sitting inside the car. I'm totally impressed with this speaker. If I had 2 of them It'll probably be too much (for me). If/when I replace the factory speakers, I'll be looking into this brand, Definitely!

Big low tunes
I installed these in a home brew, made to fit the car box for a 05 Magnum. Dodge designed the back end of these cars as a perfect home for a lot of audio equipment. Two of these SDR12's in a ported, 34Hz tuned 3.25cuft box make crisp deep move your hair bass driven at 2ohm on an old Optimus 170W stereo amp. The idea was to run the tired old amp for a while till I saved enough for a Skar monoblock.Honestly I'm debating to upgrade the amp. At 170W these subs ain't no joke. Pound you in the head and chest, mirrors are all blurry...... my wife bailed out the vehicle, couldn't take it. My son said, dad my hair is moving. It's probably pretty low on the competition dB level but in my experience so far, I get a big ol' grin every time. I had some big audio back in the day, but this is a whole new standard for me. Frequency check using my combination: they start making sound around 18-20Hz with a lot of port noise (huffing). There's a big peak in output about 30Hz with what sounds like nice linear gains till 60Hz where I quit testing. So yea, buy the speakers. Build a proper box according to the data on Skar's website and smile.
