Great little basic hotspot
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this to provide IOT connectivity for our off-grid vacation tiny home. I added to our AT&T Family Plan, and it allows me to monitor the solar, alarm, and water tank when we're not there. Setup was a cinch, Wi-Fi signal is strong, and throughput is more than enough for our needs.

Over Heating Issues!!!
Has a problem with the battery charging heating up issues pretty bad. Can't get the thing to stay cool. It would probably benefit some who buys this by sitting it in a cooler area so it doesn't heat up to much!

exactly what i was looking for. my original one from AT&T broke and they refused to replace it, so i just got this one and swapped out the sim card and now my hotspot is back up and running

Definitely Happy
Very pleased with this purchase. Took it to AT&T whom set everything up in a matter of 15 mins. Started using it the next day and it’s so easy to use. So happy!!!

Not too shabby (prepaid pSIM)
Purchased the devices here (On Amazon) and the pSIM from AT&T prepaid. Threw the pSIM in the device, bought a 15GB/mo DATA ONLY plan and things were smooth sailing. Only confusion for me was that I live in a larger city and I have yet to see the 5G symbol show up on the device. I have only seen the 4G LTE at max. Despite this, I was able to hit 124 Mbps on a speed-test which surpasses the 4G LTE threshold on the plans facts chart (53-304 Mbps (5G)12-78 Mbps (4G LTE)).
