Perfection.
Chef/muralist here A simple pencil is a key component to chefs and artist. They lay the ground work and outline for everything we do. I've been a paperweight fan for many years but the mechanics of this pencil are great, complaints about the eraser are ridiculous. If you leave an eraser in any area for a long time it dries out. These pencils work in the kitchen (fits snug and grips to me hat when behind ear, refillable qith great mechanics) when I'm working on murals, gives a broad tough and workable medium to do outlines. All around the most versitile useful pencil I've ever used. Will not go back to any other. Thanks zebra.

Facourite everyday mechanical pencils
Feel just right in the hand; erase well; cheap enough that you don't mind losing it. We put three in every room and while they move around, we're never without.I just wish they still sold the erasers separately, as this is the only part that doesn't last forever.HELPFUL HINT. They are not sold as refillable, but if you get 7mm leads, you can feed it in. When the old lead gives out, throw it away. Hold down the eraser and feed in the new lead through the tip.

Used to get these in middle school
I had been looking for this brand for so long! We had a little "gumball" type machine at my middle school but it dispensed pencils for a quarter and they were NFL themed mechanical pencils. When it eventually broke after using it for a couple years i tried to get another but it had been replaced with standard wood pencils... Years later, I am now 24 and found this recommended on amazon for back to school and its the same brand! I use them now for DND and they're great, sturdy, and I am so glad I found them. A useful piece of nostalgia is awesome!

My favorite disposable mechanicals
These are my favorite pencils for taking with you, the perfect blend of form and function. They're short enough to fit in your pocket, but long enough to be held normally. The 0.7 mm lead doesn't break too easily, but is soft enough to write well on various types of paper. They're nice enough you won't feel like you're skimping, but cheap enough you don't need to worry about losing or giving one away.

Great Pencil, Terrible Doesn't Begin to Describe the Erasers
These pencils are maddening. I love these pencils, love them! Love them. Firm, cool looking, 0.7 close enough to the crayon-level delicacy of my penmanship. But the erasers are terrible. They are worse than terrible. They break if you erase anything. They break if you *don't* erase anything. They break pretty much every time you handle the pencil. It's hard to believe that this is the design. So the solution, obviously, is to provide you with a few thousand replacements, which I begrudgingly purchased because I can't figure out how to just cap the pencil. No matter. I carry a high-quality eraser in my bag and do my best to avoid using this pencil's eraser... whoops, too late, broke again! But for $0.35 a pencil or whatever, I'm still a fan.

Great product
I love these pencils! They're so easy to use. Also, they're #2 pencils, which is what my students need to use. I prefer the black pencils with the white erasers because the white eraser erases so well. The pencils are a nice size. I carry at least one with me wherever I go to work crossword puzzles while I wait. In addition, I use these as party favors to go with games we play at the parties. The students and party guests love them.

Great idea!
Uses 0.07mm mechanical lead and looks exactly like a pencil for those of you taking standardized tests with teachers who won't let you sue mechanicals. Also has a full-sized eraser, not one of the tiny ones so common in other mechanical pencils. It looks, feels, writes, erases, and doesn't roll away just like its wooden counterpart, but never needs sharpening. The one downside to this item is that the eraser tends to come off pretty easily in a bookbag, and the paint gets scratched VERY easily in a pocket. I like to use a little pen case anyway for pens, pencils, chalk, and USB drives, but be a little gentler with these. They don't break, but if the eraser splits or disappears, the only fix is to take one from somewhere else. You can rip them off a real #2 pencil and hollow out the bottom though.Summary: YES! Love the product, just keep it in a backpack pencil pocket or pencil case.

These are a great alternative to more expensive mechanicals..
I have been buying and using these for more than a year. Now that I found them at this high quantity and low price I like them even more. Good value at $5 to $6.True, they are rather delicate. The metal ferule is easy to smash out of shape. And the eraser doubles as the cap, so when you wear it out, the cap is useless. But at this price point, treating them as a disposable item is cheaper than buying replacement erasers or buying more expensive pencils. With enough use, the printed color wears off, exposing the bare plastic beneath. This gives them character, especially if you have a colored design on light colored plastic.Later, I found some even CHEAPER Chines mechanical pencils with pocket CLIPS. I bought them just for the clips. The pencils are junk. But now I have real neat techy looking pencils that nobody else has. These pencils are about 5" long. I found an 8-pack at a Dollar store that are 6" long. I bought a pack to have more interesting designs and some extra erasers.-Chris
