It's very white coming out of the tube but rubs in clear. You have to be sure to rub it in thoroughly or you will see little white colored smudges around your face. I'm not sure why some are complaining about the smell - maybe they've now changed it. To me, it has a very faint "melon" smell when applying but it quickly goes away. It's not greasy at all, no shine, nothing. I imagine it would be a good choice for any oily or acne prone faces since zinc is calming to the skin. It seems just as good without having to be a chemical sunscreen.

Layer this smooth feeling sunscreen over my face moisturizer, then apply foundation and makeup as usual. Purchased another smaller tube for my travel toiletry bag.

Not optimal for aqua class. Face, neck and lips burned. Try something else.
