Great toaster
Great toaster! Heats evenly, looks sleek and works reliably. A bit bigger than expected, but worth it.

Stylish Toaster That Gets the Job Done
I bought this Cuisinart Soho 2-slice toaster in the Truffle color and it looks great on the counter. The design is sleek and minimal, which I appreciate since I try to keep the kitchen looking clean and modern. The cord storage in the back is a nice bonus and helps reduce the clutter. Function wise, it toasts well. There are seven browning settings and they actually make a difference. I use the bagel setting a lot and it gives a nice crisp outside without burning the inside. The defrost and reheat options are handy too, especially for frozen waffles or reheating toast without drying it out. One thing I really like is the lever that lifts the toast up a bit higher, so I don’t have to fish smaller slices out with a fork or knife and risk turning breakfast into a trip to the hospital. The buttons light up when you use them, although it would be nice if only the selected function lit up. It’s a small thing but would make it feel a bit more premium. Only real downside is that it’s a little bigger than I expected for a 2-slice toaster. Not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind if you're tight on counter space. Overall, solid toaster that looks great, works well, and doesn't feel cheap. I’d recommend it if you want something that works well without being an eyesore in your kitchen.

It's a great toaster, but it's really large.
Overall, this is a great toaster! I love the Cuisinart line of products and have many, many of their items in my kitchen tool box. PROS: —crumb tray is super easy to empty and keep clean —electrical cord fits snugly in lower area of toaster and it's easy to push it back into the area —toasts different items to perfection, with simple, easy to use push-buttons/knobs CONS: —it is so bulky and takes up so much space; not suitable to leave out on countertop The con of it's size is a shame, because if it were smaller, I would leave it on the counter, as it is very minimalist and elegant.

Salonpas has glue that is not effective. Patch easily comes off.
rapid toasting noted.

Decent looking but…
Very inconsistent results. It can burn on one side completely with the other side being completely untoasted on any setting. I’ve had it char waffles on 1 setting, and have had them be icy cold on 3.5 setting. Also, half the time it does not start. (I have attached a photo of bread toasted on the “2” setting. I have a feeling 7 would burn down the house.)

It's beautiful, well design,ed, and does a great job!
If a toaster can be elegant, this one is. It's sleek and simple and doesn't crowd the counter. I especially like the way the controls look when they're lit up. While the visuals are very simple, the toaster still has all the functions you need: Defrost, bagel, seven settings, and a bar that lets you lift the bread to check whether it's ready. The lift is high enough to let you remove the bread if you want to stop the process, but if you want to continue toasting, just push the bar back down. This product also works well for both toast and bagels. I don't understand reviews that complain that the bread isn't toasted evenly enough, or that both sides don't match. It's just a piece of toast, not a gourmet side dish. This appliance gets most of the slice toasted on both sides. It toasts according the the setting you choose and the final product is crunchy. That's all I need. Finally, I really like Cuisinart products. I've used them before. They usually include a three-year warranty and have done so here. However, their products last forever. I had a Cuisinart food processor that lasted 10 years. I highly recommend this toaster.

back of toaster is ugly
please look at the pictures closely! the back of the toaster (opposite the side with the knobs) has two big ugly cutouts, with the cord sticking out of one of them, instead of hiding underneath like toasters typically have. and, a big ugly sticker next to the cutouts to boot.

It’s kind of weird
To toast a bagel, you have to face the inside of the bagel outward and oress the bagel button, and to toast toast, you have to push the toast down twice. It toasts fine, just overly complicated for a simple toaster.

Nice looking product but is a bit flimsy made of thin plastic.
