Well what a fab epilator ! I have used braun epilators since they first came out ,however this gmhas got to be by far the best ,great spa kit love the exfoliating brush and the massage disc great for finishing your legs off after epilating .soothing and relaxing . The shaver head is a game changer for armpits as at my age (71) I can no longer epilate them ..great for keeping bikini line trim .. And the fact the epilator is waterproof! And not having to use it with a cable is an added bonus too.. Don't hesitate with this one you won't be disappointed.. The one that I have replaced is the braun silkepel 5 which actually nips my skin now. This one i have just purchased is so gentle but more efficient.. And at half price it's a snip ..

A great product, if slightly expensive. I needed an epilator and this one is made in Germany, so you know it’s a quality product. It worked really well on my fine hair, and as I’ve been waxing 20+ years I didn’t feel any pain, except for a slight sting when using it under the arms. The trimmer is made in China and works using a battery, it’s not great and will definitively not be going in water.

Easy & effective hair removal system, with light so can be used in low light. Remain hair free for weeks without stubble.

I’ve been using the Braun Silk-épil 9 for a while now and honestly, it’s made a big difference. It grabs loads of hairs in one go so I get through it faster, and my skin stays smooth for ages. I love that I can use it dry or in the shower—the cooling glove really helps when things feel a bit too much. Not gonna lie, it was painful at first (especially on sensitive areas), but the more I’ve used it, the easier it’s gotten. I’ve also noticed I’m getting fewer hairs coming back, which is such a win. The built-in shaver and trimmer are really handy for quick tidy-ups, and it’s super easy to rinse off after using. It’s a bit noisy and takes some getting used to, but the battery lasts ages and it feels like a proper investment in staying smooth without shaving every other day. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for longer-lasting results!

I was dubious about spending more money than ever before on an epilator when I know cheaper ones also do the job but I was tired of using cheap ones with terrible battery lives. I’m SO glad I bought this! First of all I only charged this for about 30 minutes to test it out - and it ended up lasting long enough to do my whole body (both lower & upper legs, lower arms, underarms, lower stomach and bikini area) and wasn’t showing any signs of slowing down or running out. Just one caveat - the charger is an EU / bathroom plug with two prongs, so if you don’t have a socket like that in your bathroom you’ll need to buy a separate adapter. Moving onto the usage experience - I was amazed at how much less painful it was than other epilators I’ve used. I’ve never been able to do my underarms or bikini area before - and whilst it was painful with this it was manageable. And it definitely does require less passes to remove all the hairs than with others I’ve used before. This was whilst using dry - and the advertisement says using it wet / in-shower can further reduce pain levels, so I’m looking forward to trying that. I haven’t tested out the other attachments or the mini bikini trimmer yet - but the trimmer does come with batteries which is a nice touch, and it looks elegant and easy to use. Whilst this is expensive - it includes a 5-year warranty so I believe it is well worth the money.

NON UK PLUG !!! BE AWARE the charging plug is not a UK plug . If you want to charge this epilator you need to buy and additional cable with a usb charging end or an EU to UK plug adaptor. This was not clear when I purchased the product. Epilator is great. It is very effective at getting those short hairs. Head is wide so you can cover a wide area quickly . I don't shave so the shaver was superfluous to my needs. Would recommend Low stars is for the plug.

Good but older model is better, lack the ability to run while plugged in. It pinches the skin which the older model did not.
