After about 5 months, the straightener did not work. I tried all the ways to get it to work. I contacted the company and he told me to prove that it did not work by cutting it. After that, he sent me a new one. Thanks to BabyLiss Company for their good treatment.

I bought this when I mistakenly thought my other straightener was broken (don't ask). I realized that my other one wasn't broken, but when I received this, I kept it anyway because the blades are so thin. I can get right up to my scalp for super straight hair. You can't use this as a hybrid curling iron because of that, but if you want a straightening iron, this is the one. Note: it is not an auto off. I think it's because it's for professional use. But if you're a forgetful person, know that you're running the risk of leaving it on accidentally.

I loved this straightener. I have course thick curly hair. I could get it done in half the time. The drawback is both of these that I bought just randomly died. I bought one in December of 2024 and when it just stopped turning on I figured it was just a dud. I decided to buy another one in May well that one just quit working too. For as much as these cost I would hope to get a least a year or more use out of them. I have had other brands last for 5 years or more. So disappointing!

It works very well but frequently used will cause heat damage. Not for everyday use! Use sparingly!!

Very high-quality product my wife absolutely loves it. It’s the same product that they use when she gets her hair done.

I’m think my hair was a too thick

I recently bought this iron, because I had gotten a silk press on my 3c/4a type hair and wanted to maintain it. While trying to do so with my previous ceramic iron, it actually made my hair frizz and poof up in minutes . Which was crazy, considering the fact that my hair was literally bone straight from my press. So I decided to not only experiment on a better quality iron but also try out my own silk press! Omg guys my silk press on natural hair with the babyliss iron lasted 2 weeks without any touch ups! I tried it on my mom also and the results were the same! Plus I got a curling iron with my purchase as-well, can’t beat that!

I have had this flat iron for 9 months, and it stopped working. I use only quality hair products on my hair. I have had other Babyliss products, and they lasted for several years. Both the curling iron and the flat iton do not seem to be the normal Babyliss quality. For $199, it should last longer. Disappointed.
