Excellent fit very well made soft on the dogs snout as it is padded adjustable to suit dogs face size and the dog open his mouth and can still be given treats through the holes all in all very pleased would highly recommend

Measured him using a piece of string, he was in between sizes so I decided to go one bigger. It fits him fine but I wouldn’t let him off lead with it on as he would still be able to get to things through the sides, he can open his mouth enough to pant but would need this taking off to drink. He was previously walked on a figure of 8 lead/head collar so he has taken to using this pretty quickly. His first walk using it was a run down the street and back again so he didn’t have time to stop and try to take it off. He has scratched the end along the pavement (sniffing!) and as it’s a solid plastic it’s holding strong, it’s flexible around the sides though. I am hoping to use this short term only, he has been scavenging for food items during walks and due to the length of the grass where we walk it is hard to tell if he is just sniffing or eating something he shouldn’t be. He has a very strong leave it but for food, I don’t know he’s eating it until it’s gone. So I use this to keep him safe. It’s taken him about a week to realise he can still have his sniffy walks but he is used to it now. Definitely worth the money for peace of mind (until the autumn at least anyway!)

We had to make the double head strap single so it would fit our Cavapoo head . Muzzle size was perfect . Made well .

Good muzzle for short term events like vets or introducing new people when ur dog is unsure. Great quality and simple to put on.

WARNING: This is the second Baskerville muzzle I have purchased for my German Shepherd via Amazon, and this is the second time I have had an issue with the fastening. With each of the muzzles I have bought, the plastic closure fastening works as it should for a short period of time, but then becomes stuck, making the item unusable once this issue occurs because the strap cannot be unclipped and opened to place on the dog. (I have tried several methods to release the clip but it will not budge once it gets stuck).Sadly, on both of these occasions this issue only presented itself after the 30-day return period had expired, which means I have not been able to gain a refund for this defective item.

Recommend by vet & dog behavioural therapist as the best one on the market as dog can still kick, sniff comfortably & drink whilst wearing.Make sure to measure properly, try at vets if you can as we were surprised we had to size up compared to the product size recommendation.Purchased for a friendly but anxious GSD whilst on busy walks, really for others reassurance, not to stop biting.
