Eh, they're replacement plugs. A little on the large side but they work ok. Connections are easy enough and they seem to built well. At least I can get a few more years out of my old extension cords.

I've wired dozens of extension cords...maybe over a hundred in my lifetime, and I know which wire goes in which slot. STILL, it's nice to see a black dot or some kind of identification on the spot where the hot wire goes. The blades are both silver colored, so no help there. As I said, I know where the wires go, but a few extra seconds of double checking is wasted time in my opinion. This would rate a solid FIVE stars if the color coding was there. In use, these are as good as the ones you pay over five dollars each for in the home improvement store, and you get both male and female in sets for far less than that. Recommended.

I needed to install a new range hood that is a plug in. The old one was hard wired. So I got these as you never know when you need to replace a male or female connector. Well, guess what? I have a Weber electric outdoor grill. Hate propane and charcoal takes too long and is a waste for one burger or steak which is all I need. The electric does great. So I'm setting it up for the season and I go to plug in the power strip I use and the strip wire has NO connector!! I don't remember cutting it off but I must of had a reason. No problem. I just used one of these. The great thing is they are very easy to connect twist the wire and insert into the appropriate hole and secure screw and pull at wire to ensure secure connection. Don't forget to put the yellow part on the wire first.

High quality. Has the type of connector for the wire where you stick it in a hole and tighten it down instead of wrapping the wire around a screw. Much better.
