The Exotic Veda alum block has surprised me a lot. It is a natural product that works perfectly as a deodorant and also helps soothe the skin after shaving. It has no strong smell, lasts a very long time and is very easy to use. In addition, it does not irritate the skin and leaves a fresh and clean feeling. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to those looking for a natural and effective alternative.

there is absolutely NO comparison to any other product I have ever tried for underarm odor. I shower every other day and do not sweat much, but I have struggled with 𝗡𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗬 BO for years that nothing could fix. It started in my adult years with a little smell the day after a shower, but after starting adderall two years ago, at 23, it made me 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗞𝗜𝗘𝗦𝗧 person on earth. the odor was so strong that not a single deodorant could touch it. I tried EVERY natural deodorant out there and eventually even desperately switched back to conventional ones, but nothing worked. for two years, the only thing that has significantly cut the odor was scrubbing my underarms raw in the shower, and even then, the smell would come back within hours. I was stinky despite my best efforts... then one day a few months ago I saw a TikTok about how alum stone has been used as a deodorant for hundreds of years in various areas around the world. I said f- it, and decided to look into it and purchase one for myself, not expecting anything different than the dozens of other deodorizers I've bought over the years. and let me tell you, this alum stone has changed. my. life. my routine: I use it once a day. I get my underarms wet, rub the stone all over the area, not just the pit, for about 15 seconds each, and let it air dry. sometimes if I am in a rush I use a cool hair dryer to speed it up. after just a few days, my smell was COMPLETELY gone. 𝗭𝗘𝗥𝗢 𝗢𝗗𝗢𝗥, 𝗡𝗢 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗦𝗢𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥!!! now, alum stone is not a deodorizer or antiperspirant--it kills the odor causing bacteria. so once you wash away any existing BO, it just simply doesn't come back. I even stopped shaving my armpits, which I used to do to control the smell, and weeks later, there is still absolutely no BO. here is my '𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘴' review: the stone itself is very good quality: dense, sturdy, smooths out after a few uses, and is not crumbly at all. the odor killing strength is amazing (as I've obviously made clear by now), and give 1000% protection for a full 24 hours. I have very sensitive skin and sometimes get a little irritation, but usually only if I scrubbed too hard in the shower first--but still, nothing serious or consistent. and the value.. ONE MILLION PERCENT VALUABLE. this thing is going to last 𝗪𝗔𝗬 longer than any deodorant stick any of us could ever use. I tell everyone I can about this stone. it saved me from years of BO hell. I will be using it for the rest of my life.

Block is very stiff and hurts since it is like a brick and it doesn’t melt easily. Value for money is good it could last for years. Not supper effective and it doesn’t have a distinct smell.

I used this product for over a year and I have to say it’s changed the way I use deodorant. There is no scent, you put it on right after a shower on wet clean skin. Works really well in the summer time. Good size, for the price especially considering how expensive corp. deodorant is these days. Excellent value for the size and lasted over a year!

I wanted to try this out for a few weeks before leaving a review but the true test will be when I take it on vacation. I live in MA and it’s December so I’m not actively sweating throughout the day. But for the past 3 weeks I’ve been using this faithfully post shower and in the morning if I felt like I slept warm. IT WORKS! I go to the gym and do a pretty intense workout every evening and no BO. I think after about 24 hours you need to shower and re apply but this block really does kill anything that would make you smell. Not sure it would work for everyone but for the price of a stick of deodorant it’s well worth the try. And it’s supposed to last years!

As someone with pretty bad body odor I’m obsessed with this! It works SO WELL! I’d even go as far as to say perfect, but it does have one flaw that I’ll get to at the end! I’m actually kinda angry I never heard about it until now because it would have saved me so much time feeling insecure and beating myself up over body odor I couldn’t control, especially after having my baby when it got so much worse! I feel so clean without regular deodorant on all day and I smell like I just got out of the shower instead of covered in artificial fragrances (that always still SMELL like deodorant anyway). I leave it on my skin instead of rinsing it off and it is not irritating at all! I can’t even tell it’s there once it’s dry! It lasts all day long too and sometimes overnight! My only complaint is that it does not prevent odor in situations where you’ll sweat profusely like at the gym or walking outside on a really hot day. I still use my regular deodorant for that, but 90% of the time I’m at home or somewhere with AC, so I rarely use it anymore and opt for this instead! I’ve been using it for a month or so at this point and it looks exactly the same as when I got it. When Google said it could last up to 7 years I didn’t actually believe it but I definitely do now lol It hasn’t dissolved or anything, but it DEFINITELY WORKS!!! Highly recommend!!! I’ll be using this for life now! UPDATE: I have been using it for a while now and my body odor is practically non existent anymore!!! I can even go running and sweat through my shirt and not smell, which is insane to me!!! Give your body time to adjust to it and don’t continue using deodorant with it. Use exclusively this. And watch your body odor literally disappear!!!

I really wanted to like this. I bought it some time ago and was waiting for my previous soap bar to run out before using it. I don’t know if it’s a defect in mine or if it’s normal, but the bar I received has tiny, hard particles that have left abrasions all over my body. I don’t scrub hard with it, because it’s such a hard block of soap, but after only 2 days of use I have a bunch of tiny, scabbed scratches on my skin. I’m not exactly interested in my soap hurting me. I can’t use it inside of my soap saving scrubber, because it doesn’t lather at all. I will be discarding this and looking for a different, healthy alternative.

Great product. I can feel less body odour, and irritation/itching caused by body sprays.

Glad I found this!!!! I have spent a lot of $ on natural deo at the store, and it never works well, and it always leaves tons of white streaks on clothes or cakes in the pits, stains with oil, etc. This works better (not flawless, as choosing naturual requires a bit of sacrifice smell wise) but it leaves zero marks, and is way more affordable than any rip off at the store. (That don't even work?!) I use a witch hazel and essential oil spray prior to applying this, and it's for sure the best combo I've tried in the last 4 years. Yaya!

i like that its potassium alum instead of the ammonium sulfate alum, i have both just prefer potassium. the case is quite flimsy but fills its role, the bar sits in it just fine. its same price as the other alum block i bought, some french origin came in a cardboard sleeve and i set it in a yogurt container lid rather than find something at the dollar store. now i have an 'official' alum bar case. if it breaks i have my lid or the dollar store. I prefer to pay for the product not the packaging. good enough.

Highly recommended after shave, but it will hurt a little
