We've been rebuilding a neglected bike we picked up recently, the original front dérailleur was pretty much seized solid when we got it, we managed to get it working but it still wasn't right so this was ordered to replace it.As it was a more or less like for like replacement fitting it was very easy, we changed the cable too as that wasn't in great condition either.Adjustment of these things is fairly easy, I did try the QR code but found it wouldn't load properly, that could be down to the security settings on my phone but they do provide a web site address on the info sheet enclosed with it. Also there are plenty of videos online that give detailed guides to installing and adjusting bike gears.The Shimano Tourney range are a tried and trusted set of kit, they've been around for years and although they may not be as fancy as some dérailleur sets they are easy to set up easy to maintain and reliable (providing of course you don't leave your bike uncovered behind a shed for eight years) a perfect set for any bike that's intended for daily use, for work, school, leisure, hacking around woods and trails or fitness training.A good all round set of gears that seldom let you down if you look after them.

The Aresvns front derailleur unit arrived simply packed in a plain cardboard box.The unit is labelled Shimano Tourney but obviously this is just a replica unit.However, the unit works well and has a high build quality with all parts nicely machined and no signs of any rough edges or burrs anywhere on the unit.Like most people I obtained this as a straight swap for an existing unit and although the unit is low in price the performance is equal to the old Shimano unit that it replaced.Fitting was simplicity itself with just a single screw on the post clamp to secure, then attach the cable and a quick adjustment of the limiting screws and the unit is working.Bargain replacement for your old Shimano front derailleur.

A lot of older bicycle parts have come down in price by quite a margin as of late, but even then I occasionally get surprised.This front derailleur is just a regular Shimano Tourney one, but at an even cheaper price than you can find anywhere else unless you buy it used.It fit the bicycle I'm currently working on without any issues and works exactly as expected.Would recommend!

I am doing up an old bike so took the opportunity to upgrade the front derailleur, while this is basically the same as the old one it feels lighter. Its made by Shimano who are well known for bike gears and levers so you expect quality and performance. This comes with some red tape attached which lets you set up and position the derailleur correctly when attaching to the bike, that's a great time saver in itself. Highly recommended

Provides smooth gear shifting for your front chainring and so far it’s seeming quite durable despite me using this off road on really rough terrain.It fits on super easily with a single bolt - just don’t forget to remove the little red tab.

I was given a bike a while ago which needs some work to get it back on the road. On of the issues is that the front gear change is jammed solid. I was planning to take it off and try to get it moving but when I saw this gear change listed for free on the Amazon Vine site it’s a much easier option.This is a reasonable quality and functional gear change mechanism which does the job it’s supposed to do.It probably wouldn’t suit professional riders or those riding long distances but it works well for me.
