If you are like me, you want your child to have the healthiest possible options for sunscreen this is it. Only 2 ingredients! Grass fed beef tallow and Non nano zinc oxide. My daughter has very sensitive skin and got a horrible sunburn earlier in the summer and I haven't felt good about putting the chemical filled regular sunscreen on her. This was the least expensive, healthy option to use until I can render my own beef tallow! It is a small jar, but it's glass so that's nice. It has a faint scent that my husband swears smells like stew... but it's hardly noticeable and fades over time. It does leave your skin looking a but white, but I'd rather have that than get a sunburn OR have chemicals soak into your skin! Love it so much we've bought it 3 times!

I have very dark skin and rarely need sunblock but my wife has a super pale complexion. I often worry about my family using harmful sunscreens . We've gotten into beef tallow skin care and I convinced her to try this sunbalm for a trip on the lake. She was out most of the day in 90+ degrees 8-9 Uv index and didn't burn at all. We got home and went for a 20 minute walk with the dogs and she didn't think to put any on and she burnt her shoulders so it definitely works very well.

Product was hard, did not easily apply onto skin, dry. Returned

This sunblock has clean ingredients with just beef tallow and zinc oxide. I bought this for a recent trip to Florida and while I still got fried, its because I didn't really re-apply :) When I used it this weekend back up north on my face before pool time, I did not get sunburn at all. -Compared to other brands its priced OK. -Does it work? Yes! Reapply it in high UV index. -Hows it go on? Easy to apply, very creamy. Doesnt feel greasy IMO. -Does it leave a white cast? Yes, all zinc oxides do. But the more you rub it in, the less it looks white -Does it smell like beef tallow? Kinda, yes! If you can get over that, go ahead and buy it. -Should they have put a scent in it? Definitely. Perhaps another mix cut with something that smells a bit better like jojoba, coconut or almond oil would be better.

Yes, there’s a slight smell to it, but it goes away. The product is smooth and easy to blend in and it did not leave a white cast (except on my bathing suit). It worked well because there were areas where I did not apply it and those burned. Best part is it is moisturizing and not greasy and non toxic! I’m very impressed with this product and can’t wait to try the regular moisturizer- tallow with honey and beeswax. I also have the lip balm and I love it!

This balm is excellent! Simple ingredients and makes my skin feel really soft and smooth after.
