Q: Can I use on white leather?

Sorry. I can't answer your question. I used it only on dark leather.

Q: Will this be safe to use on butter cream dyed genuine leather?

I love this stuff but it will darken all leather I've used it on. It soaks into the leather better than anything I've ever used. It really softens the leather even though it stays a little sticky for a time. I've used it on boots, shoes, belts, and holsters for good results. Don't expect the leather to stay shiny...it's a preservative that really works. I put it on with an old toothbrush and really put a bunch on the piece then let it soak for a couple of days. I'm not familiar with butter cream leather.
