It is what it is.
I bought these hooks for hanging plants from our high ceiling. The hooks are black and reasonably attractive, and will do the job well. For some reason, I expected them to be larger, with large hooks. I ordered the 16" hooks and that's exactly what I got.

Very strong hook.
I used these for 2 things: as a plant holder; as a clothes hanger. They work very well for both. Expect to order more in the near future. They are very sturdy. I have them holding a plant hanger that weighs 13 pounds 5 ounces with the plant. I like the black color as it blends well with the dark wood surrounding the area.

Work great to make hanging plants and other things easily accessible. Don’t need a ladder to get them down and they look nice. No rust yet and it’s been over a year!
