I had no problem installing this product. Carefully read the instructions a couple of times in order to develop a solid strategy.

I didn't end up using this set of hardware as my application changed after Inplaced the order. The kit is well packaged and looks to be very good quality. Included installation instructions are very thorough but the installation may not be for the DIY homeowner.

This product is not as it appears and tools required are not fully disclosed in the product description. The top rail is embedded into the door. It requires equipment beyond the average installer and must be used on a solid wood door. My doors are solid core but not solid wood. The amount of routing required will reduce the strength of the top of the door and in my case the screws and other hardware will not hold. By the time my contractor got to the installation of this door we had exceeded the window of return. Money wasted.

All of the pieces were sturdy. I used my existing door and added a wall panel for pattern. I and didn’t cut the full top slot depth. I put spacers on the wheeled bracket to compensate for that. I had to add a dual sliding closet door bottom track to get this to roll on carpet. You’ll need a good router($$$) to bore the wheel slots and bottom groove easily. Instructional diagrams were easy to read. Handy with carpenter tools is a must.
