You dont get 7 cutters with inserts + 7 inserts as it shows on the picture, you get 7 EMPTY cutters and 7 inserts in total.

The Fachmach lathe tooling set arrived well packed in individual plastic boxes within a main cardboard box.In the set you get 7 different cutting tools suitable for threading, turning and boring along with the appropriate carbide inserts and 7 wrenches to suit the insert securing screws in each tool.The tools have a 12mm shank so will be more suited to the smaller hobby type lathes than any larger commercial/industrial types.All tools are well machined without any rough edges or burrs and the insert slots are accurately cut.A great value tooling set for the hobbyist metalworker using a small lathe.

A very good selection of insert tooling ideal for any beginner to using their lathe.. of course it's also a nice cheap set of tools for anyone who has been using their lathe for a while,But most experts will spend more than the cost of this set of tools for a single tool.Each tool comes in the usual plastic slide together case, the tools themselves being wrapped in plastic, a 'flag' star key is included with each tool, plus an allen key style start key with the parting blade (as you need to tighten that one more than the others to keep the insert in place)The inserts are in a typical insert plastic box, so the first thing to do is fit all the inserts to the holders, it's pretty straight forward figuring out which insert goes with which holder, and hard to fit the wrong one as the inserts line up with the relieve in the ends of the holders.I gave each tool a test with a random scrap piece of steel, they cut nicely and broke the chips well.What more could you ask for.
