Bonelle Sugar-Free Licorice Jelly Candy |1-Pound Bag, About 110 Pieces | Individually Wrapped

I like black licorice but am diabetic with blood pressure issues, so I look for friendly candies for my sweet tooth. These candies are (for me) very good and flavorful, reminding me of black licorice yet not overly sweet or heavy tasting. With four piece portions at 30 calories, they fit right in with my diet. Others may not like the flavor (they are not red licorice) but black. I like the taste but everyone's tastes vary. Another plus is that they don't affect my blood pressure like regular licorice or some all-sorts. That said, the quality is excellent, they are individually wrapped and fresh, and don't age badly or get hard. They are worth what I pay and always a great gift for a diabetic looking for a black licorice fix.

Advertized and labelled as sugar free, but they are coated with sugar; and the sugar hides much of the licorice flavor. Also, heed the warning, these may cause diarrhea.

Taste is good, small size and amount for the price. Won't buy again.

These are wonderful appetite suppressants. They taste great and can take my appetite away swiftly after only eating two or three. It is great for weight control.

Absolutely horrid, tastes like a cross between cough meds and lemon lime soda. BUT certainly not licorice. Threw them away. The only reason I gave them a 1 was because there is not a ZERO.

These are really tasty! Taste like regular licorice and not sugar free. Great value and I will buy them again. Not many stores sell a variety of sugar free candy so it nice that Amazon has a good selection.

Each piece is coated with a granular substance that is coarse on my tongue. The candy itself has a consistency similar to gum. The taste is a sweetly bitter taste. When chewing, the candy sticks to my teeth, I need a toothpick to remove it. I’ve offered pieces to others, nobody wants a second piece.
