I recently picked up one of those large stainless steel tumblers and was quite surprised to find that it didn't come with any cleaning equipment. Running warm soapy water through the straws didn't seem to be enough. So I grabbed this set, mainly for the cleaning brush.The brush fits down my straws perfectly well. The extra straws included are a bonus. This is probably a necessity if you own a tumbler. I wish they'd made the brush a little longer though, as currently it's not quite long enough to reach all the way through, so you have to poke from both ends. A minor inconvenience. These are great though, for such a low price too.

The only downside to all the current rash of drinking cups is that the mouthpiece or straw gets tooth marks in it. A solid plastic mouthpiece can probably stand being chewed a bit for the expected lifetime of the mug, but those that use straws can be looking rather sad and unpleasant after a few months.These are replacement for the straws in the larger 40oz mug sizes and have the added bonus of being supplied with a long thin cleaning brush, unlike the original mug.They are well priced and should keep your expensive drinking mug looking smart for a long time.
