I have had the pure wash system for 3 years and it hasn’t turned pink is something wrong with it?

The desiccant dryer beads are there to absorb moisture in the air within your pureWash machine to keep all the electrical aspects of the machine operational. If the beads have turned a pinkish-purple or entirely purple, it is time to replace them. I would check the cold water hose connection to the box part, make sure the cold water faucet is turned on, and replace the cartridge even if it has not turned color. Three years is far beyond the life of the cartridge no matter how little wash you may be doing. Also, if you are using hot or warm water to wash instead of cold, that water does not enter the box so there is no water passing through it and then into the cartridge so there is nothing to make it turn color.

What is the shelf life for unused filters?

Thank you for your question. The shelf life depends if the desiccant dryer is sealed really good for storage, and if it is stored in a high humidity environment or not. Heard u can turn pink beads back to blue in microwave. Anyone know the procedure?
