As a physician with over 35 years of clinical experience, I found this book extremely accurate in its coverage of brain enhancement. Over the years, I have tried to follow most of these eight parameters, and the book provided the scientific background for why I should do so. I loved Holford's ability to combine hardcore science and common sense to guide people down the path to improved brain function and overall health. The book deserves six stars!

A really good, "easy-to-understand" book that gets to the point and lays the foundations for maintaining brain health to minimise the dreaded memory issues that come with age. Enjoyable read!
