Overall, way better than the Bose Sleepbuds II that these replaced! I love them!
I had a pair of Bose Sleepbuds (MKII) for 2 years and loved them for getting a good night sleep, and not getting disturbed by noise. When Bose discontinued them, and my first pair of Sleepbuds died (battery issues), I was gutted as I assumed I wouldn't be able to find a decent replacement. Then I discovered these, and I absolutely love them. They are WAY better than the Bose Sleepbuds in my opinion for an number of reasons: 1. They will work as a normal blue tooth pair of earbuds, and they actually sound great! I often use them for workouts and the likes. 2. The battery life is loads better than the Bose sleep buds for overnight use in sleep mode. 3. The sleep sounds are much more customisable and you can layer different sounds on top of each other to create a custom sleep sound. The flexibility is fantastic. 4. They cost less than half the price of what the Bose Sleepbuds were, but are a lot more feature rich. 5. The carry/charging case isn't unnecessarily huge like the Bose Sleepbuds. It's also nice and light. In addition, the battery life of the case is also much better than the Bose and I can generally get 5-6 nights out of a single case charge before having to recharge the case. (That's with wearing the buds all night long each night) 6. The way the buds go back into the charger case is a better design than the Bose, and I've never had the buds fail to make proper contact with the case (a issue I had regularly with the Bose). 7. The passive noise cancellation (without masking) is much better than the Bose and even with no masking, they do a great job of blocking out the noise. 8. They are more comfortable to wear at night than the Bose. I did get use to the Bose, but these, I forget are even in my ears, and I'm a side sleeper! The ONLY one negative I can report is the "wing" retention system just isn't quite as good as the Bose sleep buds, and sometimes they feel a little loose despite having the largest fitments installed. However I've never had one fall out overnight, it's more they sometimes unseat themselves and I need to reposition them for a better seal against my ear canal. However this is likely a product of my ear shape and the product design, and with all the other positives, I can definitely live with this and have found a position that minimises this problem. Apart from that one minor point, these are absolutely perfect. I love them and take them everywhere with me when I travel. If you're a post-Bose Sleepbud user like myself, I can highly recommend these as a replacement, or more to the point, an upgrade. Full marks to Anker for their engineering on these. They have done a stellar job!

Blocks out a fair amount of noise. Lots of customisation options.
I currently live by a train station, which is the main reason as to why I bought these. They fit snuggly in the ears & block out a good amount of sound. You have 2 different modes available, Bluetooth mode - for music playback & sleep mode. The sound is very good. It's clear & not muddy at all. It has a good amount of volume too. In Bluetooth mode you have your standard controls, Play, Pause Volume up & Down. You can customise which earbud performs a separate function. You'll also be able to download a wide range of sounds, that you can then transfer over to the earphones. The option will only appear in Bluetooth mode under the Sounds tab. There's an option for you to mix 3 different sound types, that can then play simultaneously. (You can modify the volume for each particular individual sound) then save it under a name you can easily remember. It would be great if you could add your own custom sounds from the Internet too. But then I can see why you're not due to copyright issues. Once saved, the custom sounds will transfer over to the buds themselves so you won't need to use your phone. In the settings you can specify the amount of time Bluetooth playback carries on for until it automatically switches over. You can also toggle on or off the different Prompt Tones in the settings, which I think more companies should allow this. ( Righthand corner - Cog icon) So you won't get disturbed during your sleep. The Prompt Tones are as follows: Connection Tones Low Battery Auto Shutdown Notification Tap Tone Mode Switch Notification You'll need to download the Soundcore app to make the most of these buds. It can be downloaded from the Android store or Apple store. Pairing is easy, straight out the box, it will automatically pick up your buds when you take them out of the charging case. As far as Battery Life is concerned the case holds 80 hours worth of charge. With a 14 hours continuous playback. (Sleep Mode) In Bluetooth Mode it's 10 hours with 55 hours with the charging case. I've found the performance of these buds to be very good & very reliable & the Bluetooth connection is very stable if it's walking around or running. They stay connected & are not choppy at all. I've been running with them a few times & you don't get that thumping sound like you would with some other buds. Which I am suprised about considering just how deep these go into your ear cannal. They have not once cut out on me during my sleep. Which is the most important thing. They are very comfortable especially for side sleepers such as myself. Due to how small these are, I've found the controls to be a little tricky to use on the first try. (that's why 4 stars instead of 5) for the most part they are indeed very comfortable but I found to get a bit little bit of ear fatigue. But then your ears are not designed to have a foreign object in them for long periods of time. Also I had an earbud spontaneously stop working but Anker customer service were great with regards to sorting out a replacement pair. But besides the two negatives, these are a great pair of buds, if you have trouble sleeping. They perform very well for what they designed for & are cheaper than some other buds which make them a very competitive choice.

real customer service!
Excellent tech, excellent customer service. I bought these to listen to things whilst I fall asleep. These are more expensive than others, but well worth it. They are very good quality, do exactly what they're meant to do. Plenty of functionality that can be adapted to your need, good sound quality, very good battery life. Comfy to side sleep on a pillow. 15 months after I'd bought them, and used them every night, one ear pod stopped working. To my surprise, the customer service was responsive, and when it was clear I couldn't fix it, without hesitating they sent me a brand new set. I really hadn't expected a response, let alone a replacement. Very pleased all round

Used to be good, but not worth the money now!
I would’ve given these five stars as I haven’t slept so well in ages but a genius at the company has changed the app and now they are useless, when I first got these they were fantastic, the noise cancelling was brilliant and that you have saved sounds and don’t have to use to Bluetooth to stream stuff while you sleep was also excellent. Sadly, some overpaid person at soundcore has taken the numbered volume system off and you can only increase volume at increments which now makes these either too loud or too soft, which really is totally pointless and not fit for purpose so unless these people change their pathetic app back I will demand a refund as this product is not fit for purpose anymore

Battery life dropped off a cliff after 8 or 9 months
Ordered these Jan 2025. Very comfortable most of the time and do not feel them. For side sleeping just make sure your pillow is not rock hard and has an inch or two of give so you wont feel them. I have not used them 100% of the time but I have noticed the battery life has degraded pretty quickly. Starting about 2-3 months back I noticed I was no longer getting a full night's sleep without the battery dying. I do not use loud volume and have the buds switching off when I fall asleep so not a great advert. My other Anker buds all have great battery life, so I was surprised. Design - Good for a side sleeper Touch control - Can be temperamental at times but not a major issue as you should be sleeping! Fit - Good. Rarely fall out overnight Sound quality - Good Durability - Not great due to battery issues so early. Overall Value for money - Battery life drop means not good

No active noise cancellation
The major downfall of these earbuds is the lack of active noise cancellation. For a pair of sleep aid earbuds this is a deal breaker, especially at this price. You end up having to mask any outside noise by increasing the volume of the white noise tracks, which i found uncomfortable. I've had much better recent results with a pair of Samsung FE ANC earbuds, a doughnut shaped cushion to allow side sleeping, and a long rain/storm white noise track on YouTube. I also don't think the rubber tips are the best for keeping out sound. I have other earbuds that naturally block out more sound. The positives: Good build quality. The size is amazing. Easily the most compact earbuds I've ever owned. I can comfortably side sleep all night with them in, and I've forgotten I was wearing them a couple of time during the day. The sounds quality is decent. Nothing amazing for the price but I didn't have a problem with the sound. The app, sleep tracking features and ability to program white noise loops to play independently on the buds without a connected device is pretty good. Lots of options to play around with. I haven't really used these much for listening to music/radio during the day. I tend to favour my ANC earbuds as they block out noise in my building. If they can get ANC into the next version of these then they will have a winner. As it is, these were probably a bit of a waste of money for me. I'm surprised they haven't come down in price.

Amazing product that can make a huge difference to sleep.
These ear buds are honestly fantastic. I've been hoping to come across something that can perform like these for a few years and after over two weeks of use every night, I can happy say I've very pleased with them. You pair them with your phone and can use them as bluetooth earbuds. Now there are some reviews here that complain about the audio quality but I'd say two things here. First of all, these are intended to be earbuds that help you fall asleep and play to you whilst you're unconcious, so comparing them to audio equipment at 2-4 times the value which has the intended use for daytime listening is just not helpful. Equally, I come from a profession of over a decade of working in TV and whilst these aren't the absolute best sounding earbuds I've ever heard they are more than good enough and far from the worst. So like I said, you can set them up to playback audio, and I have it set to play an audio book or music from my phone (via Audibles or YouTube Music) whilst I go to sleep. The earbuds then detect when I fall asleep and pause the bluetooth source. They then switch to playback of a white noise/soundscape I have saved directly onto the earbuds that I have set to play for the rest of the night. Now there is a HUGE library of sound effects, sound scapes and white noises to choose from, and there's a tool to mix them and create your own soundscape. You can then have up to 4 saved directly to your earbuds at any one time. You can set it to either play the chosen noises for X amount of hours once you've fallen asleep, or you can have it play for the rest of the night (like I do). As this audio is saved on the earbuds and it's not streaming via Bluetooth, once it's switched to this, the battery life lasts for ages. You can also choose to not use the Bluetooth at all and just start the soundscapes immediately when going to bed. I've seen some comments saying people have struggled with the touch controls and I must admit, when I first started using them, I thought the controls were a dud. But it's just a matter of getting used to how to do them, you need to properly tap them with your finger tip, not just touch them. But it works great and since I've learned how to use them, I've not had a problem. It also makes sense. You don't want the controls to be something that could be accidentally pressed while you're sleeping. Speaking of that, I spend most of the night sleeping on my side and that's not been a problem with these at all, they are perfectly comfortable. They also track your sleep, and whilst the sleep tracking isn't quite as accurate as the tracking I get with my Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, one unique feature is that it tracks what position you're in for the most of the night (left, back, right, front). In the morning it'll let you know what was your preferred position that night and what percentage of the night you spent in that position, and also how often you turned over in the night. The charging case has a USB C cable and charges pretty quickly. I found that it lasted around 9-10 days of use every night (with Bluetooth and then sound scape for the whole night) before I needed to charge the case. There's three little lights in the front and when you put them back in and close it up i the morning it'll light up to let you know how much battery is left in the charger case. But whilst connected to your phone when they are out of the case you can see the battery level for each ear bud in the app, which is also really nicely put together. Oh, also they have a find me feature. So if you do misplace one, you just tap in the app and it'll play a loud noise so you can find it easily They are comfortable and come with three different sizes of noise blocking cups and 3 sizes of inner cups. Honestly, I really can't recommend these enough.

These are better than my Bose Sleep Buds!
Ok, I wanted to wait a week before writing this review to give the most accurate review I could, I review products a lot for a living but I am not in any way affilliated with this company, it's totally not my niche, anyway, here is my opinion: I have owned 3 pairs of Bose Sleepbuds 2, and I was very sad that they discontinued the range, one pair I purchased directly from the company and the other 2 pairs were for well over the origional cost price due to them being rare now (from private sellers). I became used to wearing them every night so they became a necessity. So, onto these! I was reluctant to order a pair of these due to never owning the product before, I like to stick to brands I am familiar with but I was tired of spending ridiculous amounts of money when my Bose batteries decided to fail (yep, and the right earphone issues). I decided to take the jump and I am extremely impressed! They are very, very similar to what I am used to, comfort, ease of use and battery life. The app is so much better too! So many custom sounds for sleep AND (it's a BIG AND).... You can actually customize many of the sounds! You can literally build your perfect sleep sound! You can select say 3 different sounds and adjust each of those with incredible precision, say you want thunder with rain and a train in the background (for example).... you can tweak the rain volume right down, increase the thunder and have heavy or almost silent rain! It's honestly unreal! The app is easy to use, just connect via Bluetooth initially, then you can play around and add the sounds to the buds. You can also set the buds up in a similar way to the Bose buds so that you do not need to use the app to begin the sounds, just take them out the case and they automatically play the sound you set as a preset, to change the sound, you can set the options to just double tap the left or right ear bud to skip sounds! You can also set the taps to change the volume. As for battery life, absolutely incredible! No issues at all, they play all night and have even had them playing constantly for 10 hours. They charge in the case and I have found a full case charge charges the buds 4-5 times but this will depend on volume and how long they run for. The only issue I had was the hardness of the silicone fittings. You get 3 different sizes to swap and change, I set mine up so they were almost identical to my Bose sizes, but the silicone is much softer so the 1st night or two took some adjusting but now, well, I'm just used to them now. I highly recommend these buds! I would never go back to buying Bose again, even if they came out with a 3rd version, everything about these is a game changer for me! Excellent product! Ooooh, also, if you lose one in the night, there is a FIND ME option in the app!
