You don’t get a lot of chalk in this pack, but the taste is pretty average. I don’t taste chemicals. It tastes kind of like “old” chalk but i don’t mind the taste. I LOVE the grittiness and the dryness of this chalk. Didn’t turn muddy or pasty at all. This crunch and this grit is what i look for in chalk! However, i wish the taste was more natural. UPDATE: this will be my last time ordering this. This chalk has been airing out for over a week and taste like they mixed powdered laundry detergent and water and put them in these stick molds and packaged them up. Absolutely disgusting. The other packs only took a few days to air out and were perfect. But not this time. Will be finding a better seller. Don’t waste your money!

For $10 is cheep to me. I saw in the reviews people though it was pricey or they expected it to taste different. Y’all! It’s edible chalk it taste like chalk don’t expect it to taste like candy it taste nothing like it cause it taste like chalk. The price I thinks it’s pretty reasonable, Also be careful when eating it I hurt my gums while biting into the chalk and i kinda hurt myself with it but it’s all good.

Flavor is chalky...plaster taste. I like it I normally chew on crayola white chalk . But it hurts my stomach. So I switched to this. I hope it does not upset my stomach.

Absolutely delicious flavor, it tastes like wet earth. You only get 2 bars of chalk but for the price I would say you’re getting what you pay for. I have to leave the chalk out to air out for a few days as it has a factory like flavor the second you open it. Writes very well tastes even better

It’s horrible it was hard as a rock and tastes like chemicals and smells horrible it’s cheap but the quality is horrible and it’s very hard

I chew this because i crave stuff like chalk and cornstarch drywall ect it satisfies that crunch but this tastes like chemical school chalk so i scented it with laundry products it helped but it still have a regular chalk taste. Doesn't smell like anything. Pretty hard for a good crunch

I don’t understand the bad reviews at all. The people who say it’s not enough…. You get 3 good size bars and then two squares. If other pica sufferers are like me then you know you only need a nibble or two every now and then. You’re not eating one whole chunk in one sitting. So this is gunna last me a few months! And those who say the there is no taste…. Duh. It’s chalk. It tastes like chalk! It absolutely does have that rain on concrete smell (earthy) so it makes the flavor better for me personally. I use to eat comet and so this is saving my life! I think it’s a great deal and it’s very crunchy and gritty. Mmmmm Edit: so, the first batch was okay. It did have one small chunk that after eating it gave a very chemical taste! So I threw that piece away and the rest was fine. I just got my second batch and I am so disappointed! Half of it has a side that is tan…. It kinda looks like they take brown clay and cover it in chalk dust and those pieces are so hard I almost broke my tooth. The other half is white all the way through but it has two small pieces that taste chemically again! I’ve tried cooking my pieces and I don’t like the extra crunchiness. I like it gritty but not crunchy. So anyway, I have about one piece that is edible and I’m not happy. I have found a different store that sells for the same price and you get twice as much. Won’t be ordering from here anymore.

I have bought this product a few times because I really love the taste. Ordered a third time and the taste was off. Honeatly it tastes like soap. Irish spring to be exact. Maybe to many chemicals in this batch but it does not taste earthy or anything of that nature.
