Sturdy and Safe
Used after ankle surgery and also my elderly mom uses it daily. It’s is very sturdy and we both feel safe with no doubts while using it in shower. Chair is removed on the daily in and out, and with gentle handling it is not compromised at all. I move it in to bathtub with minimal effort and both are next to each other. It requires little to no cleaning since it too receives a shower but no rusting or cracking after almost six months use by two people.I did add a removable cushion seat for myself and my mom prefers to use the chair without it. I also felt it was more hygienic to do so.I’m 5”9 and 120 lbs and my 92 yr old mom is 5”5 about 140 lbs. We’ve both been very comfortable on it and the side handles still allow plenty of room. I place in a smaller shower and my legs fit with it just fine.I had a Trimalleolar fracture in ankle (Three separate breaks) and probably leaned on this chair while vertical; getting in and out of shower more than I should have but thankfully it supported me as I made my way in and out of it.Bottom line is it’s been a terrific support chair for both me and my mom and made taking a shower a joy again! My mom continues to use it daily or sometimes every other day and it’s as supportive and helpful as the first time we used it. I really appreciate the help it gives us in letting her shower in comfort and safety so I can walk away and giver her privacy and as much time as she wishes under the warm water leaving her feeling confident and happy.I can feel very good in recommending such an important health aid that makes older age or medical situation so much better!Great value too!

Very sturdy and great quality
This bench is so much better than my previous one. It was easy to put together, no tools required. It's very sturdy and it doesn't move when I sit down on it. It adjusted easy and is the perfect height. I would definitely buy it again!

good deal on a good chair.
I bought mine to allow me to keep my left leg out of the shower following foot surgery. Assembly was easy; parts fit together without adjustment and the narrow seat allows you to place the stool facing whichever direction is best. Obese persons will likely find the arms and seat too confining. It won't work well for persons approaching 300 pounds,, but for normal size people it is fine.I down graded it because the arms are not as sturdy as they ought to be. Care is required if you need to use them to get out off the tub.

Excellent Versatile Chair
Quick to assemble, just make sure you match up the legs with the correct side to provide correct angle grip at bottom. Very comfortable to sit in and love the height adjustments. Excellent value for the money. Feels very sturdy to support my weight in or out of the tub. I am a larger, older person with several forms of arthritis with two knee replacements. I was able to use it with the left arm rest off when transferring my mother into the tub to shower when she broke her ankle. Once she recovered, I added the arm rest and am now using it as dressing chair in my bedroom. If I need one in the future for showers, I will definitely buy a second one of this brand!

Dining-Shower-Dressing-Rehab/Exercise Chair! Like GOLD!
I don't write very many Amazon reviews, but I had to say a few words about this product. My wife just got a knee replacement, and I bought the chair for showers. It happens that we have a home filled with chairs that don't have arms, so this chair stepped into the role of a portable armchair for every purpose! The height adjusts up to 20-inches, making it perfect for dining, dressing and exercising (for example sit-to-stand and short arc knee extensions.) And the chair is so light that it's easy to move around the apartment. As my wife continues her rehab and is ready for more exercise, we can gradually lower the legs in 1-inch increments so she can dial in as much exercise as she's ready for. The chair is well made, easy to assemble, portable and versatile. 5-stars--I would give it 6 stars if I could.
