Durable, easy to clean and the cats like it, I would recommend it a lot - one of my cats eats too fast and as she has little teeth, sometimes returns the food… adding more pate style food and a licky mat makes it better for her and enriches the meal time too. This one has deeper ridges.

Ive had a few of these now and they've worked fantastically for slowing my greedy boy cat down. Its great also because it makes them eat in a more natural way that also makes them not be sick as much. I would recommend though that these are better for dry food then wet food. While you can use wet food with them, quite often the wet food can get stuck in the cracks and then theres quite a bit of wastage. My guy also tends to try and chew on it and rips bits off when im not looking, so they can need replacing fairly frequently.

Love using liver paste with these. My only wish is they were dishwasher proof as a bit of a nause to clean all the crevices and it splashes/ricochets water easily when rinsing!

My rescue cat eats as fast as she can.Then she forgets she has eaten her meal !This has slowed her down and she isn’t begging for more immediately after her meal .

I really like this slow feeding mat. It's a petite size which makes it great for treats and I've definitely noticed less "whisker stress" with my 6 month British shorthair (known for flatter faces)My only concern is that it can be quite difficult to spread full-sized meals across the feeding mat nicely and evenly which I personally believe, diminishes the end result.Does my kitten eat more slowly using the mat? I believe so yes.Is it noticeable? Absolutely not - the difference is almost negligible compared to others on the market.I bought this one due to its easiness to clean. I've tried better slow feeding mats on the market however they take just as long to clean!These are definitely great for liquid treats and smaller, wetter meals such as watery pouches (I've tried with jelly and it's a hassle to spread)They're also great for their price too.

My cat has a tendency to bolt his biccies and then be sick a short time later. This definitely slows him down as he has to eat every biscuit individually. Also easy to clean and doesn't slip around whilst he's feeding.

This is great for slowing down a cat at eating a lickable treat, means while he's focused on that we can also get a harness on him without losing fingers!

I have three cats. One is not highly food motivated and eats very slowly. One eats normal. And one gobbles down everything in sight like she just stepped out of the desert after being stranded for a week. She will rush through her plate so she can try and steal from her slower older sister and we couldn't figure out how to slower her down. The other normal eater will not rush, but if she finishes first she will also go nosing around her older sister to see if she can get a bit more.We got these to try and solve the issue. The little gavone gets the green one, with the more intricate designs, and it takes her more than twice as long to eat as it does with a regular bowl. The one who eats normally uses the orange fish dish, which has less intricate designs. It slows her down a bit too. The older cat can now finish at her leisure and walk off to groom her whiskers before the other two are done.They're cute, look pretty durable, and are very easy to clean.

I absolutely love these lick mats. I got them for my first cat as a kitten for when he got neutered. Knowing he wouldn't be able to lick himself for a week but he could still get the sense of it with a treat or food and a lick mat.I then started using the mats with my new kitten who eats faster that my cat. I love that they are easy to use and easy to clean. In the summer, I'll mix a churu with some water, pour it into the lick mat and freeze it so my cats have a cool treat on a hot day. I highly recommend especially for indoor cat owners!

Solo con este bendito plato logramos que nuestro gato que come como si no hubiera comido en días, se tarde un poco más en comer su alimento húmedo (igual deja limpio este plato, no imposibilita la alimentación) y le de chance al otro de acabarse el suyo en plato regular (a velocidad de gato normal).Funciona mejor con alimento tipo paté, pues el de trozos no se mete bien en las cuencas, ya que no son muy profundas, pero igual ayuda a esparcir el alimento.Lo lavamos con cepillo, agua y jabón de platos, y ha durado ya bastante y sigue como nuevo.

I needed to find a way to stop my cat from scarfing and barfing. The dishes with the larger spaces in between them didn't help because she was still able to shove her little mouth in the gaps and take big bites. This little dish worked a lot better because the gaps are so small she has to work extra in licking between the grooves. I use wet food and make sure to really squish the food into the grooves. If I just plop the food on top and spread it around it doesn't work. Really pack the food in there so it requires a lot of slow licking to get every bit of food.Cleaning is easy if I don't clean it as soon as she finishes eating. I let the crumbs dry up and then spray it down with a strong jet of water from the kitchen sink. The crumbs fall out easily. A quick scrub with a sponge after and it's clean and ready to be used again.I worry about her licking the rubber too hard to start removing pieces of the rubber and eating it but I haven't seen that yet.
