Bought for my MIL and she loves it. Her jewelry kept getting misplaced but with the lock feature it stays where she puts it. Roomy interior and looks great.

This is my second one, I lost the first one when I was moving with most of my jewelry. Really like this. Only thing I wish is that I had gotten one with the light. I thought this had one that’s my fault. Hangs over your door so I put it in the closet, which is even better because who would look in the linen closet for your jewelry?This is a must buy! Wife wanted something to store her long necklaces and I casually showed her this as a suggestion to replace the existing IKEA mirror in the hallway. She immediately says she always hated the IKEA mirror because it was segmented and this is the first I'm hearing of her feelings on it after 16 years since it was first installed. Sigh.Anyway, I ordered the 55" version and it was delivered with no issues or damage. It is a bit heavy at about 25 pounds and the long length makes it a little more difficult to carry around. I wanted to hang it on the hallway wall and it comes with a nice paper guide to help with drilling holes in the exact spacing for mounting. But the holes are only about 10 inches apart and the mirror itself is under 14 inches wide, meaning it would not be possible to mount on wall studs that are standard 16 inches apart. I could mount one screw to one stud and use a drywall anchor for the other screw, but then the mirror would be off-center in my hallway.I considered plans such as cutting out part of the drywall to install a horizontal backing plate attached to the studs. Or brackets to the side to reach the studs. Or even embedding the whole mirror into the wall. But I'm far from being so handy so I gave up on those grand plans.So I've decided to use drywall anchors but not the cheap ones that come with the package. The anchors I used look like a cone-shaped cork-screw where I have to push the initial 1/2 inch sharp end into the drywall and then use a screwdriver to twist the remainder until it's flush. They are rated for 75 pounds of shear force (ie: downward) but likely much weaker for pulling force that is perpendicular to the wall. I was still a bit skeptical that is enough since the pulling open of the door would be a non-downward force and having the door opened on one side would have an uneven load on the anchors on. So I ordered 7" metal furniture legs for next-day delivery to give more support to the mirror. And then I also installed small L-brackets to the bottom to anchor the bottom to the wall instead of depending on the included 2-sided sticky pads. I initially had trouble just placing the mirror so the rear mounting holes meet the wall screws because it's really a blind process. Twisting out the wall screws so they stick out more made this easier. I made sure the mirror was level before I took it off to mount the legs.I've seen comments that the door is hard to open but it seems okay when it's upright. One issue is that when I open the door, the door shakes a bit since the both top and bottom magnets disconnect at different times, causing the shake by the seesaw-effect on the door. My solution was to cover the bottom metal plate with tape so the magnetic contact is much weaker there and then cover half of the top plate with tape so it's a little bit weaker.The door only opens about 90 degrees. While it doesn't try to close on its own, I wish it opened more so the space in front is more roomy.The interior led lighting is harsh white, which my wife doesn't like. So that feature is now disabled. Maybe I'll try to replace the led strip in the future with a warmer color.ENHACEMENT SUGGESTION: LED brightness/warmness control.Another consideration is how high to mount the mirror. Normally, I would mount it high enough to accommodate most people heights and there is leeway by people simply stepping closer or further away. But since this has an interior mirror that is meant for close-up use, I had to mount it so that the interior mirror is at the same height as my wife. Otherwise, my wife would need to tip-toe to see anything below her chin.ENHANCEMENT SUGGESTION: put the interior mirror on a frame with a horizontal axle so it can angle up or down to accommodate a close-up face that is too high or too short.In the attached photo, the tower on top of the mirror was what my wife previously used to hang her jewelry.

Love it. It holds everything. The only thing that is wrong is the mirror inside is to high. So I can’t use the lighted makeup mirror. I put a magnifying mirror on the shelf. So that’s how i put my makeup on. Otherwise i love the cabinet. It holds everything. It has space for everything.

This Jewelry cabinet is absolutely beautiful! I bought for my teenage daughter and she can organize her makeup in it as well as her jewelry! It is definitely worth the price!
