Franz Gluten Free Deli-Style Brioche Bread

I have been on a gluten free diet for over 15 years now, and I have NEVER tasted a bread as good as this Franz Brioche bread. I opened my first loaf today and was so totally surprised at the texture of this product. 99% of bread products are dry and have a very crumbly texture...This bread is soft and made the most delicious sandwich, it was not dry at all. It was so wonderful to be able to eat something that has a good "mouth feel"... I even ate all the crust!!! This bread is worth any price to me to get such a high quality product....I had given up on eating sandwiches , but now I have a delicious product in my kitchen.

It is my opinion that this is the best gluten-free bread ever. I have celiac disease and have tried many different types of bread. It is a little on the pricey side but I am still giving it five stars because of the texture, flavor and that it has no bad smell. Usually I have to toast bread to get the unusual smell out of it or just to have it taste better but this bread I can eat right out of the wrapper with nothing on it. It does not taste dry to me. It is also not as dense as most of the gluten-free breads. There are usually six slices in each bag but they are very large. I can cut a slice in half and make an open face or cut it in half and make a regular sandwich. It seems to hold up well even though I have not put it in the fridge. It has not become moldy. Can't wait to try to make some bread pudding or French toast. Enjoy!!

As a celiac, I missed having brioche bread, and I don’t have time to make my own GF bread. This is a fabulous option. I wasn’t sure how this was going to taste, but I’m glad I tried it. It is DELICIOUS! I used it for stuffed French toast, and it was PERFECT. I also used it for good old fashioned toast, and it was great. I’m going to try it for my special grilled cheese with raspberry.

Very good for gluten free but not good enough to justify paying the high price.

I came across Franz brand of GF bread by mistake, and I'm glad I did. I have sampled many GF breads and this is one of the best. Flavorful, and best of all, great texture when toasted. I highly recommend it!
