Great Putty
As for color variety, this putty only comes in one color, but that color is actually a mix of black, red, and silver. This item is very fun for kids. I think I remember there being less leakage with this putty than there have been with many others. I think the value for money is pretty good or approximately as expected. As for the texture, you can feel the little sparkles or flecks in the putty. Not all the time, though; it just depends on how you play with it. I have 19 of these Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty 4-inch tins, and this is one the hardest ones, if not the hardest one, as far as the consistency goes. It is even harder than Drama Queen. Personally, I like how hard it is, but some people might not. It is called Ninja for a reason!

It’s addictive
This works so good in my classroom for kids that have a hard time focusing. Let’s be serious. I use it all the time also.

Won't purchase again.
This stuff is neat but if your kids leave it on anything, it is ruined. It attaches and doesn't come off. (Cloth or material)

Kids love it
I bought this for my son who loves slime. This is great and not as messy.

Kids love it, but...
My kids love it, but we (their parents) hate it. They love squishing it, and it doesn't collect dust and dirt like other putties. But the glitter in this one sheds and gets on the carpet and their clothes. Maybe it's because my kid is too rough? Also, if this stuff gets on fabric, it's impossible to get out. He stuck it on a shirt (I had to throw it out - it wouldn't come out with water, dish detergent, anything!) and a plushie which unfortunately we also had to toss.

Already Opened
This putty did not come with the Aaron's Crazy Putty seal on the inside of the tin. The cardboard box holding the tin was also very obviously opened already.
